That's a great idea! I didn't even know that they had roller kits like that. I suppose that I should probably get a kevlar belt too at this point.
Other than that, and besides a bbk, what are some other worthy mods?

I have had success in purchasing from SDS. All of the engine parts worked out well. I ordered some "Handsome Boy" chassis parts that did not fit my 2013 Taotao CY50-A, and they simply asked me to return them. Will buy from them again, although email communication leaves a bit to be desired.

I've been dealing with Scrappy Dog Scooters for my mods so far. Upgrades: - NGK CR8HIX Iridium spark plug - Performance CDI - Performance ignition coil - Pre-jetted carb, #  - Performance air filter I use high octane gas just to keep everything clean, and haven't changed the first oil yet. What's next? Mo from Scrappy Dog suggests rollers, but I'm not sure what weight will work. I weigh around 150 lbs. and can barely get it over 6000 rpm, even with the new CDI (it will rev all the way on center stand). Does anyone know the stock roller weight for this model? I don't want to go in there twice (once to weigh, again to replace). Should I try anything else while I do the rollers? Also, I'm having a hard time tuning the carb to keep a good idle. When I tune it on a hot engine, the next day it will bottom out. I have to keep throttle going for a while. Is this normal? Thanks! |

I took off all of the decals, sanded, and repainted with Krylon Fusion black satin spraypaint. Enjoy! Attachments:
