You should be fine,,just keep up with all the good stuff like oil change, gear lube, and CVT belts..also good idea to remove clutch and grease the roller bearings at least every 3K miles I would say.A decent quality belt should be reliable for 5K miles,,and tires about 10K. Good luck and happy scootin brother!!
PS..dont forget to keep a simple tool kit under the seat with spare CDI,coil, plug, extra fuel line, nuts bolts, zip ties, and some slim jims..lol

Your welcome,,the battery and or starter motor is not strong enough to push through compression stroke from what I am hearing...hope you get it going man!

Try a strong battery or jump it first and put fuel into the line like Alley said,,then tell us what happens..if the motor doesn't crank any faster with a good jump then the starter is bad or its out of time one tooth..

Wow,,timing sounds out of wack to me..make sure all the timing marks like TDC and cam sprocket all line up perfect..
Its cranking slow but sounds off time to me.Maybe try to jump it from a stronger battery also..get the motor to spin a little faster.
The starter motor might be getting weak also..it has compression cause I hear that much..lol

you can still make sharp turns without scrapping as long as you have enough real estate,,the less pavement you have the lower you are going to lean,,I like to use up both lanes when cornering really fast,,for a right hand corner you go in hard on your side then come out of the corner in the other lane,,but that isnt happening unless you are on a race track,,or very experienced with no cops around..lol

No chicken strips brother...lol
Be careful,,cause if you go down too far,,your tire will get light from the stand or CVT hitting the ground and you will wash out....you can modify the stand some by cutting off the little foot peg on the left side used for pushing it down with your foot.
Of coarse you will need somebody to help you put it up on the center stand after that mod..but atleast you will still have the stand.

guess i'm the only one that is annoyed by this new feature. believe me... if you ever get directly in front of that light then you'll understand. for those who haven't had the pleasure... equivalent of looking into the sun. My camera flash also doubles as a flashlight. I have not used it as a phone ringer but I can see how it would be nice if you were in a loud environment. Not good for a poker game though. People are so rude. yeah,,it would be fine at a Megadeth concert, football game,or hockey game..lol

The trick to any scooter lasting long is not to ride around WOT all the time,,that will cut the motor life in half if not more..its ok to rip it up to 7.5k-8K RPM every once in a while though,,what fun would it be if you didn't

Awesome scoot!! Im going to keep my eye out for a 250 clone cheap on CL this summer,,i will tell my wife its to resell but if it runs good Im will keep it to have fun on for a while..lol "Honey, I know what I said, but it's still not ready yet. I think it has a bad motivator or maybe the flux capacitor is burned out. I can handle it but I'd feel bad about pushing that off on someone and they got hurt. It isn't safe!" lol..yeah,,or Honey I got it for free because some guy was giving it away for parts,,it didnt run...but I think I can fix it...hehehe....

On my newer scoot today I washed and waxed most of the body work, looks nice, I painted a replacement body piece, did a rough job of it but it needs a few flaws to match the rest of the bike, then I took the carb apart and cleaned it thoroughly. Man was I impressed, Yesterday it did 20MPH tops. Today it pulled the front shocks up on acceleration. I didn't take it out on the road because it has no tag but that thing is going to put the scoot in scooter! Maybe these 250 Helix clones aren't so bad after all. I bought it to sell but I'm thinking of keeping it and selling The VADR. Even with my electric fuel pump there's no way mine is going to keep up with this one. This is how riding a scooter ought to be. I want to take it out on the road! I want to take some vacuum and fuel pressure readings on it so I can see what a good running 250 Helix clone should read. Of course it might have problems when at full speed, but it feels strong off the line. Awesome scoot!! Im going to keep my eye out for a 250 clone cheap on CL this summer,,i will tell my wife its to resell but if it runs good Im will keep it to have fun on for a while..lol

Be aware: the little 110/100-12 and 120/ -10 tires on a Helix/Commuter are frequently only rated for 62MPH! What brand rubber does the helix come standard with? I don't think the stock Chinese scooter tires are even rated..lol
