i was at the poker table and some moron across from me was playing with his phone when he got an incoming text or call. instead of the normal ring tone or vibrate it flashes a blinding led light. needless to say i gave him an ear full. next time i may accidentally on purpose knock your phone to the ground. what the heck kind a stupid feature is that! and why is anyone using it while pointing at another!!!  |

guess i'm the only one that is annoyed by this new feature. believe me... if you ever get directly in front of that light then you'll understand. for those who haven't had the pleasure... equivalent of looking into the sun.

Hahaha,,I have not been attacked by that one yet Ramblinman,,but I tell you what,,I really am getting sick of all this technology that is out and about carelessly in public,its really rude the way people almost walk right into you,,I'm going to start bumping into people on purpose just to knock the darn phone out of their hands..whoops,,sorry I didn't see you coming CRACK!!!.lmbo!!!

guess i'm the only one that is annoyed by this new feature. believe me... if you ever get directly in front of that light then you'll understand. for those who haven't had the pleasure... equivalent of looking into the sun. My camera flash also doubles as a flashlight. I have not used it as a phone ringer but I can see how it would be nice if you were in a loud environment. Not good for a poker game though. People are so rude. |

Galaxy S4 doubles as a flashlight. It would be a VERY useful feature in a loud environment, just as a regular ringer is very useful.
But, just like the regular ringer, you should turn it OFF in certain situations.
