Was it cooler out today ? Almost the same, but a lot more humid. I think you will really like the performance of the bigger carb after all the mods are done . its nice to be able to pass cars if you want or have to.

Hi, I wanted to ask if you see a difference in the oil level when you check it when engine is cold compared to when it's hot? When the engine is hot, i wait a few minutes and then i check the oil level, and it's slighlty higher than when i check the oil with the engine completely cold. Thanks. Are you the one who had the prob with oil blowing out the valve cover ?

Always add oil and check levels when cold. After draining the oil , I usually start the scoot so the oil starts to cycle through the pump, then I'll shut her down and I'll check the level to see if I need to add more. If it shows fuller when hot , don't worry about it. Just check it again when cool. Id only be concerned if its low when hot, which means its probably even lower when cold.

The past week or so my temps have ranged from 160-210 . I hit 210 when I had the 1500 rpm main spring in and i was riding at wot for nearly 10 miles. With rpms reaching nearly 8000 rpms at times. I have the stock main spring in now with 15 gram rollers . my 1000 main spring will be here 2moro . my 17 gram rollers came 2day.
Its funny , I was nearly pull wheelies with 16 gram rollers and the 1500 main spring. I sat all the way back on the seat and pulled up on the bars ,I thought I was going to flip the darn thing, lol. The front wheel came off the ground what felt like two ft or more , lol. I let off the throttle and the scoot slammed back down. I was afraid I may have knocked something loose , but she's ok.

Saw "Tomorrow Land",starring George Clooney. Yes, it's about futuristic things, but it is more about optimism, and what happens when we lose it. I thought is was worth seeing at the theater. Wouldn't mind seeing it , but George clooney is one of those liberal pricks. Like when he got mad when someone said Obama instead of president Obama . it sucks that most of these actors are liberal pricks. Go ahead Mr Clooney and make a movie like From dusk till dawn " great movie by the way" and then be so against guns . its hard for me to watch movies by these people.

Most of the MLP would destroy hello kitty . hello kitty is just a model , she takes pics with guns , but has no clue how to use one. She has her on guitar , but has no clue how to play . she is just a kitty model who likes to lay back on the beach , but never gets a tan .

StarTron is more a fuel stabilizer while SeaFoam is a fuel system cleaner. Personally for cleaning I prefer the Berrymans B12 over the SeaFoam. I have used the Berryman Dip Tanks for cleaning parts and carbs for decades now and have had consistently better results than with the SeaFoam. For really bad remediation's where SeaFoam has failed the Berryman in a few tanks will more often get you going again. Actually the star tron is also a cleaner. This is the stuff. There are other star from treatments also. But this stuff is excellent for cleaning and as an additive."edit", I meant and as a stabilizer not additive. rvpartssource.com/Star-Brite-093016¤cy=USD&language=en?gclid=CjwKEAjwhbCrBRCO7-e7vuXqiT4SJAB2B5u7j8ueTFG-hg07TczT5KYjkGRrAcEZvNhI92uGHMBfShoCJ0fw_wcB

just an FYI I am getting the head ported for efficiency only. Thus the wholes should not be made any bigger. I am not sure when I will get the head back. I hope this week. It looks like it is going to be fairly cold this week. I might start taking the scooter apart this week. I really hope I do not have to take the engine out to do this job. So your just going to get the ports polished. Nothing wrong with that . ope everything turns out good for you .

Yep, its a 155cc . the crank should be fine. Displacement is one thing but horse power is another. You can have a displacement of 155cc but without the extra air and fuel your not going to notice too much of a difference. That's where the exhaust , air filter, carb , advanced timing, performance head , bigger intake, etc , come into play. If done right horse power can Be more effective then displacement , however both together is what you want. For example , I went from 57mm to a 58.5 which isn't much . if I would not have done all the other mods I would not have noticed much. Even a 61mm with a stock exhaust and stock air filter , you would not notice much of an increase in performance. You can get a stock bore 150cc to do close to 65mph with the right mods . you hear of some with a 63mm kit that still cannot reach the 70mph range. You hear some say there is no replacement for displacement , however there is , and that's horse power.

I've never noticed any issues with the ncy 58.5 racing head . tbh , u really should not have any valve float issues unless your cranking out way past the rpm redline range. Which is just asking for problems from overheating to valve floating issues, etc. Now a stock head and valve springs are another story .
