I use Berryman's b-12 chemtool.
I have found if I add to much to the tank my O2 sensor shows it runs richer. Then I have to adjust the carb to get it back in the "sweet spot". Now after every other full-up of the tank I add a cap full.

I've used it as a stabilizer, during our long winters. Seems to work fine in that application. Haven't had any problems with anything I've put it in, come spring. If I were using an ethanol blended gasoline in my scoot or other bikes, (but I don't) I'd be adding Startron at each fillup, for I think it's main function is to help reduce harmful effects ethanol has on our small engines, and to prevent the alcohol and gas from separating if allowed to set unused.
As far as a fuel system cleaner, most people recommend Seafoam. I use MMO at the rate of .5 oz to every gallon I buy, for my scoot, and also my fuel injected bikes. It works for me and my scoot, for I haven't had to remove carb for a cleaning yet, it is 3 years old, and has over 6,400 miles on it, starts and idles fine, pulls fine at wider open settings, and delivers outstanding mileage.
These type of products, and their use, is always a debate, and everyone will swear their choice is best, and all the rest are crap.....so just read the labels, and pick one that sounds right for you.

any opinions on the startron fuel additive from Home Depot, as a sub. for seafoam?? Star tron is just as good , if not better then seafoam . I've been using it for the past couple years now. Advance auto , Walmart , and other places carry the star tron also. Its actually cheaper at home depot , then Walmart , not sure how that happened, lol. But yes seafoam is very good , and so is the star tron . star tron is much more expensive then sea foam , especially considering it is a much smaller amount per container. Advance auto use to sell the star tron for nearly 15 bucks . its about 10 bucks at Walmart and 8 bucks at home depot.

The custom motorcycle shop recommended Starton to counter ethanol, so that's what I use. Seems to do good for me, it sits all winter (with occ start-ups) and still does fine come spring. But like billybob said, they're probably all about the same. Like Canon vs Nikon cameras--pretty much personal choice.

StarTron is more a fuel stabilizer while SeaFoam is a fuel system cleaner.
Personally for cleaning I prefer the Berrymans B12 over the SeaFoam.
I have used the Berryman Dip Tanks for cleaning parts and carbs for decades now and have had consistently better results than with the SeaFoam. For really bad remediation's where SeaFoam has failed the Berryman in a few tanks will more often get you going again.

I use dish soap for cleaning tanks. I use seafoam to finish the job, gets rid of water in a tank and stabilizes fuel somewhat but mostly good for getting rid of water or even thin film of old gas in the lines.

There are other star from treatments also. But this stuff is excellent for cleaning and as an additive."edit", I meant and as a stabilizer not additive. rvpartssource.com/Star-Brite-093016¤cy=USD&language=en?gclid=CjwKEAjwhbCrBRCO7-e7vuXqiT4SJAB2B5u7j8ueTFG-hg07TczT5KYjkGRrAcEZvNhI92uGHMBfShoCJ0fw_wcB

Idk about startron but seafoam also helps with starting in the rain and on new england humid days. It does need to already be mixed into the gas before the rain otherwise you risk getting rain in your tank. Good multiuse product. I've also used it as starting fluid by unscrewing the top of the carb and pouring a few drops into it after lifting the diaphragm and needle out, but you gotta be fast reassembling the carb cuz seafoam dries fast.

The link you posted did not work however here is the manufacturers web site: Starbrite/Startron
