They would more then likely just make a new one and use the flange from both ends of the stock header, but you can always ask them if it was possible to do any boring through the stock header.

My 32mm is tight but it fits . I used a 30mm intake it was just like the stock but with no rubber and of course the port is 30mm . I used a shorter piece of radiator hose , because the rubber connector was too long. I cut the radiator hose a little shorter and it fit. It is still tight but it fits .

I never take mine out in the rain. I've never had any issues myself " in the past " . however I've heard many times from others who have had issues with water getting into the electrical system , or even into an after market air filter like a uni or a k&n , due to them being out in the open. I agree if your going to ride in the rain , make sure all the wires and connections are water proofed , make sure all the wheel bearings are free of dirt and regressed every so often , and be very careful and make sure your tires are not bald . if you have a free flow air filter , you may also want to make some kind of shield that Blocks out the rain .

How's it going ? Do you mean a site to buy parts or just a site to view what others have done ? Or do you mean a good place to take yours out and run them ?

It would be nice to have an actual oil filter on these scoots . I'm a nut too when it comes to oil changes. I was shooting for around every 500km, but the average has been probably about 650km or so. The first 3 or so changes were much closer intervals. It seems as if everyone has their own method at break in , but I'm with you . the more often you change oil during breaking, the more likely you will catch any metal shavings from possibly causing an issue.

These don't even use a quart of oil, and no filter. It's so cheap and easy to do. I think I changed mine around 70 and again around 300. As long as you don't use royal purple like I do , I'd change it as often as possible. When I looked back at the old scootdawg site, when I did my break in , I used penzoil , then at the first oil change I switched to royal purple. Many say not to use synthetic during break in , but I used it pretty early and I've had no top end or crank issues yet. Of course royal purple is a very good synthetic.

The reason you want to do the first oil change sooner , is because this is the time you will more than likely have the bigger pieces of metal in the oil. Its best to get rid of them as soon as possible.

LOL GEORGE that is supper expensive for a fuel filter... I thought you would have suggested the NCY In-line Fuel Filter I was hoping whatever is attached to it is already a fuel filter and I did not have to do anything. keikara you are right, but for peace of mind I will have to add something that lets air in only without letting any fuel out. I actually tried drilling a hole out of my cap already but not sure if it does anything.. hahaha Lol, it is expensive . I wouldn't buy it . I would find one that's just about the same just less expensive. I agree about not letting fuel out, but let the air in. Also I would never leave it open . its just asking for bugs to enter the tank.

Yeah, after San Juan , it takes about 24hrs to get to warrendale , about 2 hours north of me . if it departs warrendale by 3 - 4 am it will be hear that day , if not it will take another day. Usually 3 days but sometimes 4. its still faster then most in the US. WAIT A MINUTE !!!!!!!!!!! So Warrendale, population 375, is the nearest large city ... and it's 2 hours away??? How far do you need to drive to get your Royal Purple??? Wisconsin? Lol, you would think the plane would land in Pittsburgh and get sorted there. But it goes a little further north , then when it leaves there it come back down to masontown , which is about 3 miles from here. They just opened an advance auto in masontown about 6 months ago !! I usually had to drive to Uniontown to buy the royal purple. Its about 10 miles from me. They're suppose to be building a McDonalds in masontown also !! On the rd I did the now famous " Down Hill Run " on . that's the same place they put the advance auto.

How many miles is enough for a new engine to brake in? Also during the brake in period, how many miles between every oil change? 500 miles should be fine . I'd do the first oil change after the first run . try to make the first run at least 20 miles. I'd do the next change at about 100 miles . from there I'd do a change every 100 miles until you reach 500 miles. I'm sort of a nutt when it comes to changing oil . I usually change the oil every 500 miles. I've went 1000 a few times , even 800 now and then. But after a break in I would not wait any longer then 1000 miles to change the oil

No problem. For future reference still measure the thickness for me. I may even have a set in my possession I'd just throw in a envelope for ya. Hey P-Guy Package arrived from Puerto Rico (as always, in record time - much faster than domestic), so I have those measurements compression ring 1: height - 0.74mm, depth 2.66mm compression ring 2: height 1.05mm, depth 2.70mm oil ring sandwich (all 3 together): height: 2.27mm How long exactly does it usually take for parts to get to you from PR ? If I order on a Monday morning , many times I'll receive the parts on Thursday. Sometimes Friday.
