Like the title says. I have a job with a big tarmac area, good for "off road" vehicles. Thx, Not so much interested in hearing any second hand experiences with converting a scooter, just exploring the possibilities.

I believe it would be cheaper and easier to sell the 50cc and buy a 150cc, unless you want to do the conversion on you own for fun, nothing wrong with that, wrenching for fun is never wrong

How's it going ? Do you mean a site to buy parts or just a site to view what others have done ? Or do you mean a good place to take yours out and run them ?

Usually when this question is asked it's so they can register a bigger engined bike as a moped or not license at all depending on your local laws and ride without an endorsement (or without a license at all, depending on laws) Some might have issues with this but in all honesty we talk about BBKs all the time which is essentially doing the same thing, the bike is no longer technically "legal" in that case either.
I've seen some conversions done and in my opinion many look ridiculous because the 150cc case is longer, usually 12"+ wheels instead of 10", and you may have to mount it back for clearance too, so you have this rear tire sticking out back way past the fender. Only looks OK in a Ruckus.
So I think your best bet if you want to go 150cc on a 49cc chassis is find a bike that came with 49cc and 150cc versions of the same thing, buy the 49cc bike then find yourself a 150cc parts scooter and put it all together. I had a Kymco 49cc that had a 125cc version of the same bike, I was tempted to do the same but instead i just got my endorsement, better that way anyway.

My engine case says 1p39qmb , and the valve cover has a 50cc stamped into it, lol. But it came as a 150cc , now with all the mods. So its registered as a 150cc with a new engine that screams 50cc and its actually ,155cc or so scoot that will nearly hit 70mph , lol. I'm sure if I got pulled over and the they looked over the scoot there may be a few questions. But then again , here in PA even a 50cc needs to be registered and you still need a motorcycle license , so I really don't think all that matters here , now that I think about it.

I'm working on the same project. You need a top mount frame, the rest is up to your handy skills. If you can weld you can use whatever frame as long as you can make it.

the conversion is doable, you either need the adapter since gy6 50 and 150 do not bolt in the same way or a gy6 150 engine crossmember and tabs (or make and weld your own in) other than that its a really simple swap, crap like the shock mounting gets interesting if you go from a gy6 50 short case to a gy6 150 long case. and the tanks on 50's are small, the gas goes fast feeding a 3 times larger engine.
