If it is not a battery hold down strap. It may be used to remove the battery out of the battery compartment. Some batteries fit snug in the compartment and are hard to remove. Wrap this around the bottom and up the sides of the battery before you put it in the compartment. Now you can pull the battery up and out easily.

I'm not sure about yours, but mine has a separate connector at the dash for the speedo wire. Follow the wire up from the speedo puck at the wheel up the fork tubes and check for broken wire. I haven't had the puck on mine apart yet, but the magnetic pick up is in it. It may be a broken gear, dislodged magnet, ect..

Most stock carbs are 18mm, some are 19mm. You measure the inside diameter of the intake manifold side. This one is actually a 19mm carb. I don't have enough hands to hold the calipers right to measure correctly and snap the photo. Roy

I drained out all the pink Chinese coolant. I used a turkey baster to get what was in the overflow bottle. Then I filled it up with plain water, ran it till warm, drained and repeat till clear. It took three flushes. Then I filled it with the prestone silicate free.

It should come out. You may have to finagle it around a bit though. I had one I thought wouldn't come out. The hole in the case was a little to small. but with a lot of wiggling it came out.

I'm pretty sure it is a short case. If the cvt cover has 8 bolts in it it is a short case. If it has 10 bolts it is a long case.

Yep, grind it flat, chamfer the hole. Then beat it to fit the other brackets and paint it to match. Roy

The whole point of using a gps is so ya don't get lost in the first place. I never get lost, I always know where I've been and know where I'm going. Just some times I take the wrong way to get there. ;D Roy

I haven't found one yet. I have tried several exhaust systems. They will not fit without modification. If you can get the flange to bolt the exhaust port the header pipe will hit the frame. You may he able to heat the header pipe and re-bend it to fit.

So is it recommended to upgrade to a higher volume oil pump when installing bbks? The difference in the volume is probably minimal, but I haven't tested the pumps for pressure and volume yet. Roy
