Is it a scrappy 52mm? If so it takes that kit several hundred miles before it breaks in and comes alive

I have a TaoTao CY50-A, stock with 7gm sliders w/performance variator and run 40-45 WOT @7500rpm currently. I have good take-off with consistent incline speeds.
