Hello folks! I own a Taotao CY50-T3 that I got from a previous owner (it has about 4,000 miles on it). I've recently done some work to it; changed the weights (from stock to 4g slide weights), gave it a tune up (removed the EPA stuff from the carb), and installed a new racing CDI (blue/silver box). Though I am a "noob" to scooting, reading these forums have helped me learn how to do things. The service manuals y'all have here are a GODSEND!! I'm looking to make additional performance upgrades in the future and would like some good parts recommendations. Any help is appreciated! Here's some pics! The red scooter is not mine. Belongs to a friend... Is this a short case tranny or long case?

I'm pretty sure it is a short case. If the cvt cover has 8 bolts in it it is a short case. If it has 10 bolts it is a long case.

Its a short case i have one uses 669-18-30 belt Mine has the same belt size. I figured it was a short case. Thanks! welcome from atl, ga Like your bike dude Thanks! I love the ride height; sits nice and high. And since I got the EPA crap off the carb, it moves nice and easy. Currently, I get up to 30mph on hills, 40 on flat land, and close to 50 on steep downgrades. Works for me!

Take the center stand off, it's dead weight. Spray Fluid film on kick start mech. Remove, disassemble, inspect, relube clutch pulleys bearing surfaces. Put 80cc kit on it. Ream out the main jet 10%. change the air in the tires. Put gas in it and run like . put fender back on, it will soak the electronics under the cowl. Buy a Dog, Buy 2. install a radar jamming phased array. Que up some DJAbstract dawg www.mtrec.com/abstract/sounds/abstract26.mp3

Howdy from South Haven Michigan. I know Richmond VA like the back of my hand. 21 years now retired military..I was stationed at the Naval Weapons Station in Yorktown VA. Avid hunter and competition Pistol shooter..sooo Green Top Sporting Goods in Richmond..was my home away from home! ;D man I could spend hours in that shop. Also you guys host some killer Rock concerts there.I saw Matchbox20...Maroon5 and Sugar Ray all in one concert. The Bennigans on Broad st was the place to eat! For some reason Bennigans in Michigan serves you kid size portions..the one on Broad st down there...served more than anybody I know could eat!The fishing in the James river was fantastic. I don't eat Largemouth Bass...too muddy for me.But to be catching 5-10lb Bass in the middle of a city seemed weird ;D Glenn, aka...Yayiima benatigee
