On my Honda, I gotta use a non silicate coolant, like the Honda brand coolant. Some coolant can actually destroy the seals
I have a 300cc water cooled trike. I found a loose hose and small leak. Fixed it, but gotta refill, or drain it all and replace.
So, what coolant works with these scoots?
Thanx Dave

There is a coolant that mixes with anything, NAPA sells it I am sure others do also.

I know for one thing, I'm not too fond of the brand 'Peak'.
If anything, avoid it.

Thanx
I found that Prestone has a silicate free coolant that is good for aluminum engines and radiators. The ones with silicates have a tendenty to destroy the aluminuminimuinmuimnnuimnn. Didn't know that Now I do And so do you

I drained out all the pink Chinese coolant. I used a turkey baster to get what was in the overflow bottle. Then I filled it up with plain water, ran it till warm, drained and repeat till clear. It took three flushes. Then I filled it with the prestone silicate free.
