that would be sweet. But the issue with scooters is most scooters all you need to do is disconnect the ignition plug and you can start the scooter without a key by using the kickstart. But i would love something like that on my scooter.

A screw driver and a bit of determination will override that in about 15 minutes after they get your scooter home in the back of their truck. Its neat but, quite worthless on something 1 or 2 guys can carry away...

I agree, that a determined theif will drive up in a pickup and drive off with your scoot. It seems locks in the disks is pretty cool- only way to get my scoot is to carry 330lbs of dead weight. Hard to lift since awkward. Maybe an alarm also would hinder theft.. But still a determined thief will watch your house, get to know when the scoot is there alone and gone, get to know if other vehicles are gone to take it. To stop thieves, you might be best parking in the backyard and buying a german shepard whom would love to chew a new hole in a thiefs pants.. lol..

I'm bettin' it would take more than 2 people to pick up a 600 pound trike and throw it in a truck. My little trike weights in at almost 300 pounds. They get parked in the garage when not in use.

Only $40 bucks. I think I'll get one, just cause I'm a gadget junkie. ;D I'd like to find a remote kill switch though.

Roy Most scooters with alarms and a remote key fob usually have that built in like my scooter. I press the alarm button and it will kill the scooter if its on. Its pretty funny when your friends ask to ride your scooter and half way up the road you press the button and it kills it lol
