I do because I go places I haven't been before. I like to find my way back home without asking for directions. This is how I mounted mine. I use the stick on plastic disc and the suction cup mount. It is hard to see in the bright sun though. Roy

I have one, but I'm having trouble keeping the mount fully secured to the instrument panel.

I have one in a case, with a 12V cig lighter power adapter. The mount is a mirror mount. I dont have any pics of it. But I also have a 7/8 SS towel bar mounted via L brackets and U-bolts between the mirrors so I can use bicycle handle bar accessories. My smartphone has GPS, and the GPS, and probably a Cree crazy bright auxiliary lamp, and maybe a walky talky, and of course: cameras.
I will take new pics after I finish the EFI kit install and give it a bath

howdy, i would think that handy but if you stop somewhere do you always have to take it off? like when you go in for coffee? that seems the major drawback as one more mobilize and demobilize procedure added to an already extensive list ie. rain gear//gaiters/gloves/ clean visor/ helmet, take off gloves and get key out of pocket etc. for those of us in the ocean effect rain area one would have moisture problems? lotsa miles and smiles to ya ken

I left mine on my scooter nearly all of last summer, and never had a problem. Stops in stores or for coffee are quick. I did stay at a hotel with my scooter, and I did take it off over night, and strung a lock and cable through the wheels, but not attached TO anything. A disk brake lock with alarm is one of the next purchases.

Use an Arkon water resistant case mounted on left mirror stalk. Clips on and off in a flash. Plugs into accessory outlet in glove box running wire under the bottom lip of the glove box door. An awning ball loop bungie keeps the power cord from flapping about.

Nice to have if you do not know your way around but could be a distraction to look at it while riding . I carry a compass and pocket knife since old habits are hard to break but I know my area verbatim as I have been a courier for years for a few companies

I had to move over my brake cylinder a bit to fit this on my handlebar. I then had to saw off some plastic around the inner handlebar that is covered to get it on. Its waterproof and works good. Zip it in and out. You can see the GPS just plastic part that fits it connected to the handlebar in my signature near grips. Fits perfect my tom tom GPS.

No more head nod to glance at your speedometer. Chinbar on my helmet blocks the view of my gauges so I have to do a nod to be able to see my speedometer unless it is dark out then I can read the cluster in reverse off the back of my Sport Fairing.
