Well you will have to take the VARIATOR off, some of the weights probably CAME out fell out when you took the CVT over off. Also any weights in there are probably laying on there side and not in the ramps correctly. Standing still the belt should be down in the Variator and on top on the Clutch pulley: Alleyoop is tha a pull start.

sounds like you just need o find th right air to gas mix.try puting a old sock or or something over the air filter or if you have the stock air box put that on give it a try.

[replyingto=burnrubber]burnrubber[/replyingto]x 2 find what works the best and stick with it. gears are the strong part of the scoot and can take a beating but you still need to keep the gear box full.

If ya look down at the bottom of the motor on the side it should say what motor it is. it should say something like gy6 or 139 qmb or what ever.

for thoses scoots 0.3 is good on both. as far as how often. that depends on how good the scoot was put together. some are weaker then others. and dont do it when the motor is hot. most scoots should be dine like maybe a 1 a year. maybe not even. sometimes you can get 2 yeras out of a well build scoot.

It also just might be the throtle adjustment. you may have to adjust the big bold next to the carb on the throtle cable.

[replyingto=cravenscoot]cravenscoot[/replyingto]Easy fix disconect from switch and hook up a toggle switch right to the starter, just make sure your ground wire is grounded to the frame. I have mine under my seat so its locked up. you can stell use your key to lock the bike up.

[replyingto=tvnacman]tvnacman[/replyingto]I add bottled water to my battery and sometimes I can get another 6 months to a year out of it. Just rember after adding water let it sit a day or over night then charge. do not over fill.

you need a new wire harnes. but frist try a new key switch. sometimes the wires will pull apart in places you cant see. or ground off in places you cant see.
