Sorry to hear that Captain, just do not ride around without one otherwise you will burn your exhaust valve. And most exhaust you buy unless specific for that scoot some kind of mods will have to be done to make it fit. Just remember no pressure on header where it attachs to the motor. You mount that first and then see what needs to be done to mount the muffler so that it DOES NOT put pressure on the pipe. If you force the muffler to get it to align to mount it will eventually break the pipe or pull or break the studs on the head.

All I will say and have said it many times IF you have to put 9 gram weights in a 150cc variator to get some rpms something is wrong.

Yes, black is your ground and red is you 12vs. You can also hook them up to your stop lights, running lights turn signals etc. They do not have to be hooked up separate by them selves.

Stupid question.. If when I only partially block the inlet, it revs up, but not totally restricted or unrestricted, would it be OK to just fix something over half of the inlet and see how it runs on the road? All the cables and connections are good and tight... 1drv.ms/1uYiXjR (the pic didn't show up for some reason on my page so there is the link) Sure try covering part of it and see if it runs good that way, you can use Duct tape to cover part of the inlet. Well the picture did not show anything everything in that picture is connected. I see a canister of some sort to the left of that pic what other canisters and things are on that scoot, maybe one of those canisters and or vacuum hose is not connected.

It appears it is not creating enough suction to suck in enough fuel. Are you sure you are adjusting the valves correctly when the piston is at TOP DEAD CENTER and the ROCKERS are OFF the high lobes on the cam.
That on and off blocking the air is a problem with the motor vacuum. Did you mess with the cam and or stator or anything that might have changed the timing on the motor? Maybe it is out of time the WOODRUFF key is damaged and the flywheel rotated on the crank.

Reason you cannot get to #5 is because it is bogging on you when you open the throttle up. TO MUCH AIR make sure the air filter is on and NO OPEN connectors on the tubing going to the carb or cracks and or the airbox full of cracks it is sucking in to much air from someplace. That is why when you cover it up a little it runs better.
Take some pictures of the carb area and the airbox and tubing and stuff if you cannot determine where it is getting extra air from. Maybe one of us can spot the culprit

If it's a 50cc set both valves to .003 inchs if it's a 150cc set both valves to .004 inchs and you will have a happy motor and happy valves. As for the cam stopper the cam has to have the stopper like this:

Just about all STATE to STATE shippings are by RAIL(very cheap), then the sellers get a local delivery trucking outfit to pick up the shipment from the train and then it gets delivered to the customer.

Right after you take the Carb off Take a picture of the Front of the carb by the BUTTERFLY I want to see how much the BUTTERFLY is opened or closed. Picture like this: THEN: Get a SPRAY can of CARB CLEANER they come with a long thin straw you will need that. Then take the PILOT JET out and make sure you can see daylight through it. With the jet out STICK the thin straw into the hole the pilot jet screws into and SPRAY and SPRAY should come out by the BUTTERFLY PIC #1. PIC #1:
