As expected in a 'Vette, it's mighty sharp!
If GM and Chevy did their homework, it MIGHT well be in the league with the Italian super-cars... No reason for it not to be.
That said, if it will do 0-60 in two seconds, and top out over 200 its $60K price tag will make it a "no-brainer"... 16-year-old tuner kids will be buying them with pocket-change from their self-employed pharmaceutical sales... LOL! And guys who only DREAMED of a super-car will afford one on any executive salary... Even a blue-collar guy might swing one if he can hide it from his Wife...
A lot depends on the performance, but it's actually CHEAPER than many high-end PICK-UP-TRUCKS! Chevy MAY have a winner here in the class with the early 'Vettes that started the whole genre!
We shall see...
Of course, if it indeed WILL go like Lambo, dealers will likely do the old Plymouth Prowler/PT Cruiser scheme, putting the car on the lot with the 60-grand sticker crossed out, and "Bids starting at $100K accepted".
There just ain't no free lunch... LOL!
If it turns out to be a boat-anchor with weak performance (I really hope not) it will still sell just on looks at that "giveaway" price. Seriously, local Redneck boys here often drive Silverados, Fords and Rams sporting $70K+++ window-stickers!

The Venox is a strange bird... Designed to appear to be a 750-900cc bike, the motor actually has some cosmetic "enlargements" on the exterior... It has not sold all that well here, but has good reviews.
Apparently it was Kymco's attempt at a V-twin that looked like a big twin, but retained the affordability of a 250. Not close enough in appearance or sound to a Harely to excite American riders, but from road tests, a good bike for the money... At least you'd "look" like you're riding a big twin. Sorta a "sheep in wolf's clothing"... Like putting a spoiler wing on a Yugo.
Oh well, it IS a "real motorcycle" featuring Kymco quality. Not my cup of tea... I'd stick with Kymco SCOOTERS personally.

I like it... But it weighs as much as my Kymco GrandVista 250. I can't imagine a GY6 putting out enough power for this weight... My 250 could use 5 more hp to good advantage... LOL!
I realize the scooter market is indeed dominated by 50cc rides (probably because many states allow riding them with no license or insurance.) Many in use by those who've lost their licenses, creating the nickname "likker-sickles"... I really dislike that kind of generic demeaning of any product, but it is what it is. Certainly a 50cc is a good upgrade from a bicycle.
This scoot however is H-E-A-V-Y... For those who love the nostalgia, that may not be a problem. I've ridden the little Buddy 170i and despite 10" wheels, it's a blast (pushed my 225 pounds to indicated 73mph; probably honest 65...) and probably less expensive. It's just about as nostalgic in style, too. Just me... this new one would be sweet with a 300cc mill!
Genuine scoots are usually good quality. Should be, they're NOT cheap...
Ride safe!

Ironically, I credit Raquel Welch with helping to curb Male chauvinism. The song about "I can bring home the bacon, fry it up in the pan, and never let you forget whose the man.,, " had been performed many times over the years. Men finally took notice when Raquel Welch performed it.
Men take notice most every time Raquel does most anything... LOL!Watching her half-nekkid even made the film makers of "20,000 BC" miss the caveman wearing a wristwatch, or the jet plane flying over the Stone Age landscape... Duh...

What fun it was creating ads in the wonderful days before "political correctness" took the fun out of classic stereotypes... I won Addies and Cleos with this type of marketing! Different times... LOL!
There was never any intent to demean women... Men worked, women kept house. Men went to college to get their BA, and gals went there to get their MRS.
Just the way it was.

Wow. I haven't thought about the wiener whistles in a long time. I only had one. Yeah, REALLY old memories... Early fifties. Somewhere, I probably still have a wiener-whistle from that encounter! The wiener-whistles will probably not be a marketing tool again any time soon... Even as 8-year-olds, we sorta figgered blowing a wiener was NOT the most macho thing, no matter how neat it sounded... WE held 'em hidden in-hand covering and uncovering the air-hole and blew 'em like a "Bosun's whistle". Made the experience more nautical than naughty... LOL! Different times for sure... LOL!

Gotta go with the Wienermobile… Not that it's all that macho, but in the fifties, the original (on a PACKARD chassis no less) visited our neighborhood.
Arnold Stang, the original "Lil' Oscar" got ticked off at us kids while handing out wiener-whistles and cussed us out with language that would make a sailor blush... Considering his tirade (ESPECIALLY in 1952 or so) probably cost him his job, THAT was pretty macho... LOL!

Definitely Thunder Road... Robert's son played his little brother, and Mitchum was at his best in this low-budget cult classic which he was mostly responsible for. Corny, but in a factual sense, portraying the plight of the long-term moonshiners with no other way to get by. And Keeley Smith was great as his gal-friend!
Not enough focus on the shine-runner cars, but great nitty-gritty, unwashed red-neck action! I watch it every time it comes on!

I've gotta go with "Old Ironsides"... Maybe not as formidable as the Brit ship, but oh, MY... What a history! And at least as of a few years back she was STILL commissioned and maintained in war-ready status. THAT is MACHO!
C'mon... Ya wanna dance? How bout a load of black powder and grape-shot, matey?

Jeremiah Johnson lived in a log cabin. Pretty macho. Absolutely! Folks just don't get much more macho than "Liver Eatin' Johnson"! Even the Native American Indian tribes who tried to kill him off finally respected his spirit and incredible fighting ability. What a guy! Have a bone!

Tough one...
I'll also go with the stone cottage because of its robust construction (although, the thatch roof is definitely "combustible). Native American Indians soon learned the entire log-cabin was combustible... LO not so L...
I have to give the log cabins extra points though because of the macho folks who built them... But the domiciles themselves? The stone walls still give the cottages a slight edge in my opinion.
BOTH dwellings have distinct advantages in "macho" over the "mush-board" trailer-house the Missus and I live in... LOL!
