What fun it was creating ads in the wonderful days before "political correctness" took the fun out of classic stereotypes... I won Addies and Cleos with this type of marketing! Different times... LOL!
There was never any intent to demean women... Men worked, women kept house. Men went to college to get their BA, and gals went there to get their MRS.
Just the way it was.

Ironically, I credit Raquel Welch with helping to curb Male chauvinism. The song about "I can bring home the bacon, fry it up in the pan, and never let you forget whose the man.,, " had been performed many times over the years. Men finally took notice when Raquel Welch performed it.

Men take notice most every time Raquel does most anything... LOL!Watching her half-nekkid even made the film makers of "20,000 BC" miss the caveman wearing a wristwatch, or the jet plane flying over the Stone Age landscape... Duh...
