Well that is true...2 are ground..I suppose you could make it work...but you would need to buy the plugs for it to fit the 4T. The company makes one for 4T also...and of course being 4T the parts are a bit cheaper than 2T....which still I don't understand Maybe the amount that the timing is advanced differs from a 2 stroke to a 4 stroke. And I'd guess that they sell a lot more 4 stroke CDI's than 2 stroke so to offset the cost of R&D for the 2 stroke CDI's they charge more. Thats probably the case with most 2 stroke parts and why they cost more.

Actually that CDI will work on a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke. The spark plug is fired on the compression stroke and on the exhaust stroke.

Not trying to put down your machinist skills but i think you should consider buying an jet. Its like 3 or 4 bucks at the most. Also maybe check your spark plug gap if you haven't. The other thing is that if it was sitting for a while you need to drain all your gas out and put fresh gas in it.

Unless you are getting a misfire or power loss your stock coil should be fine.

I would never patch a front tire even if it was in the tread of the tire. Cuz if for any reason the patch job fails and the tire does. You'll go down with it. Its like 40 bucks at the most for a new one.

f your compression didnt raise much by squirting oil in the cylinder it is most likely nothing to do with the rings sealing its probably your valves leaking a little bit.

Just so you all know your not actually doing 50+mph on a 49cc scooter with few mods on it. Your speedometers are all fast by about 5 to 10 mph from the factory.

Royal Purple Haha what a joke. All they do is charge you twice the price of regular synthetic oil for oil that's dyed purple.
Changing from conventional to synthetic may give you a tiny bit more power but almost nothing noticeable. But royal purple giving you more power vs. a different synthetic oil is a joke. Anything you notice is just in your head.
