HID's should be mounted in a projector type housing or proper lens housing, not a standard housing.
Not only the glare for other drivers, but the bad light pattern that is projected/reflected onto the road. You are making the road more dangerous than it already is by adding a HID kit in a standard lens housing. So please do HID the right way by installing it in the proper housing.
HID kits are illegal do to the glare that they cause. Glare is Light that is emitted in a Uncontrollable path. When light is traveling in a uncontrollable path it can hit other vehicle operators affecting there vision because of the High amount of uncontrollable light that is being Emitted from a HID kit in a standard Halogen housing. Better check your state laws.

Projector housings have an efficiency of 35%, They are a Joke. As you can see from the video, unless you on windows , the light pattern is as close to perfect for glare control as one would expect. This is in testing phase and if someone has a better idea of a suitable lens array I'm all IN. Light Core.

The blueish white HIDs blind me and glare so bad in the rain at night . I have saw a Hummer and Mustang with pink lights that lit up the road but not so much had a glare to me
