Just called them today and everything I needed was in stock so I placed my order online within 10 seconds of hanging up. Pretty simple if you do it like that.

You're correct. I'm not sure what redroush00 is riding but if it's a 49cc then he will be getting some tickets in his near future. I pass by 7 or 8 scooter rental places every day and they have tags on everything.

You dont need to register 50 cc's in florida. Tell that to the DMV.

Bought a 49cc scooter for $200 and the Florida DMV hammers me for $171.40 for tax, title and registration. Good thing I wasn't planning on flipping the scooter or I would be losing serious money.

The best part is when someone starts a new account to bag on a vender. Just seems shady to me.

I would try a UNI filter or adjust your carb jetting. Maybe both

[replyingto=scootnwinn]scootnwinn[/replyingto]I will check all of that tomorrow. It's a buddies scooter and I have not messed with 2 strokes much at all. It seems like everything is different then a gy6 so figured I would ask before ripping into his scooter to much. Thanks for the tips.

Here in PCB it's bike week and I'm not so much worried about the cagers this week. Bikers come from all over just to act stupid for a week. Last night I was in the car and watched as bikers came flying out of parking lots at WOT snatching the front wheel off the ground. The speed limit is only 35 but flow of traffic limits speed to about 25 and i had few ride my back bumper for miles. I couldn't speed up or i wouldn't have been giving other bikes space. The same goes for spring break scooter renters. They fly around in between cars passing on the left and right as cars are at a dead stop. I am now convinced scooter OWNERS are the safest drivers on the rode.
Stay safe and always watch out for the one you can't see.
