Yamaha vino 50cc runs wih starter fluid and then dies. I'm thinking its a carb issue. Video coming.

Its dies cause you have your air box off it is getting to much air spray it put the airbox back on then try and see what happens

Did you pull the fuel line and check to see if its flowing? Is the petcock/fuel pump vacuum actuated is the vacuum line hooked up if so. I hope that has an automatic oiler running on carb cleaner like that isn't good in general even worse without oil. Did you open the carb and check the float needle?

[replyingto=scootnwinn]scootnwinn[/replyingto]I will check all of that tomorrow. It's a buddies scooter and I have not messed with 2 strokes much at all. It seems like everything is different then a gy6 so figured I would ask before ripping into his scooter to much. Thanks for the tips.
