Alright so this seems kind of strange to me, noticed it a few days ago at a red light and it seems pretty consistent. So my throttle has about an 8th of a turn worth of play in it, basically I can turn it about an 8th before it actually engages and revs it up. Recently Ive realized if I turn the throttle just far enough to before it would make me go, my RPMs drop from around 1800 where they always are, closer to 1000-1200 range, just above cutting off. It doesn't really cause any problems more of just curiosity as to what is causing the RPMs to drop when I'm seemingly not twisting the throttle far enough to engage anything. Wasn't sure if this was normal or possibly the beginning of a new problem.

So I'm in the market for a new belt I still have the factory belt on at 6500 km. The belt size on there now is 835 20 30 My question is, do I need to get this exact size? Or is there different variances I get get to achieve different performance?

Have you re-jetted the carb? You will most likely need to change your variator weights as well. What exactly is the issue? You should definitely have noticeable increase in power, but the CVT will need to be adjusted to take advantage of it. I had 12g sliders with the stock bore, performance was great, after installing the BBK it could barely take off, so I put 10g sliders and now it performs a bit better, take off is decent but it tops at 6000rpms going downhills, going uphills is very slow. The 30mm carb came with 125 main jet, the stock carb comes with 105 main jet, adjusting the A/F screw makes no difference until it is almost closed. The issue is general poor performance, instead of gaining power it lost it, cold starts are very hard, I have to let the start button pressed for a few seconds until it can idle on its own, but when it is hot it starts right away. I noticed that when I cold start it, I can't move the throttle or it stalls, I have to let it run for a few seconds until I can move the throttle without stalling. hmm well if it is not making a difference until the af is almost closed maybe you should try a 120 main also im thinking since it stalls when first starting up that it's too rich, and when the auto enricher turns off its not nearly as rich and that's why it doesn't stall when giving throttle

While we're on the topic of tires tell me this, what level of difficulty wound you say it is to put new tires on on your own and what tools are required? Or should i just pay the local scooter shop to do it

Uh, the pump doesn't just click off like normal? That seems weird. I mean, I take off my scoot's gas cap, stick in the tank nozzle, set it to low and let it go 'til it clicks off on its own. Now my old Taurus, I would guess roughly how much gas he needed (never accurate 'cause he lied low), then start listening ear at the nozzle for when the pitch of the pumping started going higher. Then I'd click off and top him off. Otherwise when it shut off, he'd vomit gas down his side and sometimes all over the ground. He really was a naughty car (probably a big reason why I loved him so much--the naughty, not the gas). So why doesn't your tank click the nozzle, and mine (THANKFULLY!!) does? >'Kat The problem is the metal bracket in the center of the hole. If you point the pump nozzle right at it , the gas sprays back out of the tank. But all you should have to do is point the nozzle to either side of the bracket. doesn't work for me the majority of the stations around here the slowest setting for pumping sprays it too hard off the sides and splashes back out too

I have been too lazy to attempt modifying mine, instead I have a mental list of which pumps at which stations pump slow enough lol anyone know the reason there is that guard in the tank anyway?

Don't know where he lives but here in florida you have to register and title 50cc so if you got pulled over they would see 150cc on the registration and no endorsement on your license... true but the last time i got pulled over on my 150 I just pleaded ignorance like I didn't understand what 49 and 150 ment regardless I did get a $300 ticket for doing 29 in a 15mph school zone that I thought I was out of, but he didn't care too much about me not having the endorsement
