You can buy a bigger carb to go with the BBK, it is less restricting than stock. go with 17-19mm carb.

They have no clue how to measure the Bore and Stroke to come up with actuall displacement. Snit I'm advocating and advising breaking the law. Orwell

Don't know where he lives but here in florida you have to register and title 50cc so if you got pulled over they would see 150cc on the registration and no endorsement on your license...

technically you had to register and insure it when you put the bbk on and broke the 49cc barrier, so running the outlaw 150 (150 debadged to look like a 50) is not any different than what you are already doing..... if ya wanna play the law and proper card.
BOOM drop mike on floor.

My Ohio registration for both my 150 and CBR1K do not note either the Model or Displacement. Only notes Vehicle year, MFG, and that its a M/C. I have run into the insurance issue of a Particular Displacement limit on a M/C. Performed BBK and there is really no way the Insurance company will find out.

Two things to keep in mind:
1- I have seen cops follow a scooter forcing the rider to go WOT to determine it's top speed. The guy got a ticket for riding a non-registered motorcycle, even though all markings showed 50cc the law in Nevada restricts 50cc to 35mph.
2- If you are in a severe enough accident, they may investigate your scooter's mechanical condition. A quick measurement of the piston, and you could be denied your claim, and possibly prosecuted for fraud.
Full disclosure, I ride a BBK'd 50cc (83 with Bbk) illegally, and a fully legal 150cc (currently stock).

even though all markings showed 50cc the law in Nevada restricts 50cc to 35mph. Most states have a 49cc limit and a MPH limit, thats why the old honda ns50 had to be registered in almost every state, stock it will do 50 to 55mph. most the 50ccers break the limit which is usually somewhere around 30-40 when they tune their scooter, remove the limiters etc, etc. I love the hypocrisy of the insurance/ registration argument
