Alright so this seems kind of strange to me, noticed it a few days ago at a red light and it seems pretty consistent. So my throttle has about an 8th of a turn worth of play in it, basically I can turn it about an 8th before it actually engages and revs it up. Recently Ive realized if I turn the throttle just far enough to before it would make me go, my RPMs drop from around 1800 where they always are, closer to 1000-1200 range, just above cutting off. It doesn't really cause any problems more of just curiosity as to what is causing the RPMs to drop when I'm seemingly not twisting the throttle far enough to engage anything. Wasn't sure if this was normal or possibly the beginning of a new problem.

Also check to make sure the nuts holding the throttle cable to the bracket on the carb are not loose. That is also where you can adjust out the play in your throttle, at least when I had a similar issue, slight turn of throttle before it would engage.
