Glad to hear the surgery went well, and wish you a speedy recovery That will give you a chance to learn a new song or two, movies and series marathons are good ways to fast forward the boredom, I canceled my Netflix subscription after I got off the bed when I was recovering from my surgery, there was nothing else worth watching, I watched everything! I also suggest learning a new language or skill online, it helped me improve my Portuguese and HTML5 skills

I agree with Kat, those scoots are HUGE, the price will be the same I bet. I see at scooters as affordable and convenient means of transportation, a huge and pricey scooter takes both things I like away from it.

I noticed a big increase on scooter prices recently here, I bought mine new a year and a half ago at $900, one with the same specs is now $1500, we have a free trade agreement with China (lower import taxes and stuff like that) which means that they should stay cheap, not sure if manufacturers are pricing them higher or our local motorcycle dealers cartel got greedy and decided to raise the prices.

Ever have the fun of running into desert coyotes wandering around residential streets at night To be honest , its not the known animals that bother me " other then deer " . but when it comes to the nervous feeling of being chased , I tend to think of the unknown creatures that may be wondering the back road woods at night !! Like some kind of flying creature , like a gargoyle , or something like Bigfoot , hel hounds , and things of that nature. Even certain alien beings would be a pretty scary encounter. Actually it really doesn't matter if you going slow or not when it comes to the aliens , lol. Chupacabra!

A 2006 scooter with that little mileage means that it has been sitting for long periods of time, maybe it was broken down at some point and the owner put it aside and neglect it; I would check the fuel lines, battery, old fuel, old oil, old brake fluid, cracked tires, carburettor and corrosion. I've got a 2005 (although it should count as a 2007 which is when they uncrated and prepped and replaced and got ready to drive) with almost as few miles--about 2600. Mostly due to the driver being "broken down" at multiple points. However, I've kept him plugged into the Battery Tender Jr, and had his oil changed and everything that needed doing every spring except one. I start him up periodically to keep everything fluid and going. So just because you find a low-mileage bike doesn't always mean it's a neglected bike. >'Kat That would be the exception more than the rule, most people are not that careful with these machines.

You can take advantage of the situation and get a BBK to replaced the seized piston, if the rest of the engine is ok, of course.

9g/10g/11g is for a 50cc? Everything i read seemed to point more towards 6g/7g/8g You no longer have a 50cc, you put a BBK on it, the bigger the displacement, the more weight is needed on the sliders/rollers; if the sliders/rollers are too light, you will top your RPMs too fast and kill your top end.
