One thing that really bothers me is the phrase " drugs and alcohol " I guess it makes everyone feel better about drinking, lol. Don't get me wrong , I'm not against drinking at all . yes I have not drank in nearly 13 years , I just don't have the urge to drink since the addiction took hold. I just really hate that phrase , lol. Alcohol is one of the worse drugs out there . its one of the only drug that has a withdraw that can actually kill you . I do believe it does take much longer to get to that point with alcohol but when someone does , it horrible. Not to mention, when we would drink , it alters the mind like no other. I'm not for legalizing marijuana " only because having alcohol and marijuana both legal , there will be much more drug related incidents" . that said , I do believe marijuana alone is not as bad as alcohol. If it wasn't for the quick and harsh Addiction, opiates would not be as bad as alcohol. You don't see people riding on top of cars and acting like a nut while on opiates and many other drugs. I know it sounds like I'm against alcohol , but its not the alcohol I'm against , its the ones who act like they are so against drugs while they are stumbling around with a can of beer in their hands. Hel , I'm sure at some point I'll have a few drinks , but its just been on the back burner for awhile. I agree with that, I don't do pot, never liked feeling slow and stupid, but it is proven that it is not as dangerous (physiologically as well as psychologically) as alcohol or tobacco, there are not reports ever of a dead by pot abuse, pot fries your brain, but that's up to the pot smoker if he/she wants to turn stupid, as long as they follow the same rules than with alcohol (like no smoking pot and driving, no underage smoking...) I don't care if it is legalized. |

Right now it looks probably double-size. But who can tell swollen, what with all the wrapping the dr did? I do keep the bootie pretty loose on the front, same as they had it. I keep reminding myself--unlike you guys, I did this on purpose, I choose to do this,...I wanted this? >'Kat What was wrong with your feet?  |

I got the light stuff, Acetaminophen with Codeine, it made me slow and put me to sleep like a rock, but the anesthesia (probably morphine) gave me the rash, I spend the night scratching myself after I woke up from the surgery, I would make a terrible opiate addict because of the rash  |

Some of us enjoy tinkering with this things, even if we got a 1000cc scooter we will always want to get a bit more out of with with such and such mod, that eternal "what if..." question, not sure if it's a condition or a disease, tinkerosis I heard is the name, we can't avoid it.  |

Btb ricardo, how long were you stuck in the bed for your leg? Probably makes my whining sound really petty. >'Kat First time, a couple of weeks, I got the surgery a week after the accident; last time just a day! I got the surgery right away and was walking with the crutches the day after the surgery, put away the crutches the 3rd day when I got the bandages removed. The first time it took longer because the leg was swollen because of the body rejecting the rod I got installed, the second time the body didn't flight the rod. |
