That is just a slip fit muffler, no need to attach.

I stick to snap on ratchets. Broke a knuckles with a craftsman ratchet. Won't even touch those cheap knurled junk ratchets. Gear wrenches are great, make sure you get the reversible ones so they don't get stuck in a tight spot. Stanley quality and up sockets all hold up well, just don't put them on impacts!

I don't know what stator is in it but I have a dc setup from factory (99% sure at least). What do you need to know?

Is converting a dc scooter any different than converting an ac scooter to a 11 pole stator?

It is 76 here in southern Maine today! Warmest it's been this year. Took the scooter out for a nice little cruise!

Simply put, does any body have a first had experience with 8.2 stroker setups? I've thought about it time and time again but there just doesn't seem to be much 1st hand knowledge of it. How much do you have to clearance and where? What else should e replaced while in there? How long of a timing chain with standard height head is needed? Any tips when putting it in?

As stated above, to reduce radio interference. You don't need a resistor plug, it will run fine either way

Just because you bought the cheapest part you could find on eBay does not make all eBay parts bad.

When I painted my scooter I just used single stage automotive paint in a spray gun. Never primed it, just scuffed the stuff that was one there. Has held up great over a year now.

Cheap Chinese scooters are known to have cheap parts, valve stems are the same thing. Replace with some quality valve stems and don't worry for a long time.
