I wouldn't say avoid them, Jeremy does have good prices and his shipments are usually correct. I just wouldn't order from him if you are in a hurry for parts. As kspower says, support those who support the scene!

I will add to this and say that he has the slowest shipping of any vendor I buy scooter parts from. Ordered from 3 seperate places including enviromoto last week. The other two places stuff arrived then later that night I finally got a tracking number from enviromoto.

Hard to diagnose when it is all torn down. Could have been as simple as the valves being too tight and sticking open. Could have been worn rings, or even a bad head gasket.
I can't get the picture to enlarge on my phone, but is that carbon buildup where the gasket goes? If so it may have been a bad head gasket or improperly torqued head.

Find the part on a parts diagram and post the link. I think partsforscooters.com has diagrams.

20 ft lb on the head studs is fine, they don't break till around 30 ft lb. You don want the head lifting, most big bore kits bump up the compression.

Does the line run from the bottom of your carburator (the bowl) and come down by your cvt cover? Of so it is the drain line. If its leaking it may be loose, try to snug it up.

Bumping this back up as I'm finally getting around to touching this thing. I tore it down yesterday, and I found that I have a 12 pole stator. Now, is this better than an 11 pole stator? I'll check the wire colors tomorow, but I can tell you I have two hard plugs, not bullet connectors.

The buzzing sound sounds like low voltage or a bad solenoid. Check for voltage at the battery, starter solenoid and then the starter while trying to crank over (only do this when checking at the starter). Also check and make sure your ground from the battery is good, and your connections are clean.

I just impacted them on, I don't think there are curtain torque specs for something like that, the gear box bolts are 10mm and the engine oil cap is I believe a 3/4 or 13/16. Use the proper tools you don't want those to be stripped! WOW. You say use proper tools, but you are using an impact on drain plugs, and nothing on these scooters are SAE so that 3/4 or 13/16 should stay right in the tool box. I would never use an impact on ANY drain plug! I have seen different sizes for both drain plugs, 17 and 19mm for the large one and 10 and 8mm for the gear box. While your in there you should replace them with Prima's magnetic ones. I think I got mine from spec cycles or drowsports for under $10. I don't know the proper torque specs off the top of my head, but the should be anything excessive, the main plug has an o-ring and the gearbox plug has a crush washer. Your guesses are probably pretty close. I'll check my manual and see if they are listed in there. EDIT Engine drain plug 12 ft/lb 5 mm bolts and nuts 39-52 in lbs 4.5-6 Nm 6mm bolts and nuts 69-104 in lbs 8-12 Nm 8mm bolts and nuts 13-18 ft lbs 18-25 Nm 10 mm bolts and nuts 22-29 ft lbs 30-40 Nm 12 mm bolts and nuts 36-43 ft lbs 50-60 Nm 4 mm screws 22-30 in lbs 2.5-3.4 Nm 5mm screws 30-43 in lbs 3.5-5 Nm 6 mm hex bolts 87-121 in lbs 10-14 Nm 8 mm hex bolts 17-22 ft lbs 24-30 Nm 10 mm hex bolts 25-32 ft lbs 35-45 Nm
