Found a fuse to the ignition that was linked into the "security system" alarm that blew a fuse and killed power from the ignition. Got it to crank and "kinda" run. I can keep it throttled and it'll run fine but even if I try to adjust the idle screw it won't tighten down far enough to keep running. I took off the bowl and the jet is clean, float is good so I'm not exactly sure what I can do since the choke is electronic. Getting closer to running correctly though

Don't have any power to the dash, can't even get it to crank. I have full battery voltage, just checking to where all it's going at this point. I've only found one fuse but it's testing good.

I have a 2008 Znen 150cc scooter. It had been stored up for quite some time so I brought it out, cleaned the carb out and put it on a charger. With the key on it was showing the fuel gauge respond and all the lights would work, signals etc but wouldn't start. I saw on youtube where I could jump the starter solenoid and when I did that it sparked but didn't turn over. Now there's no response from the lights, gauge or anything. I checked what seems to be the only fuse which is by the battery and it's good. I have voltage to the solenoid but not sure where to go or what to check next. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

My favorite feeling is looking down at the gauge cluster and seeing how far I've gone and how little the gas needle has moved. I have a motorcycle for most my long range riding but if I'm on the scooter its because we're doing something fun like going to the lake or getting donuts with the kiddos (my wife has a scooter too) So no bad times on the scooter for me. It's all fun!

Scooters can't really hold a lot of weight like a motorcycle could. Like said above, check the plate for max weight, more then likely you exceeded it. Heck you can exceed it really easily, they're not mules.

That sir is bad . Your "getting to old for the tent" is that due to space? sleeping on the floor? or just put up and tare down?

Welcome. Huston seems like a good place for scooting, lots of stuff close by and traffic doesn't really allow for high speeds. What kind of scooter did you end up with?

Not much room for groceries but if money is no object, I'll just have my French maid pick them up in my Deusenberg. V-rod copy cat. Kinda glad these came out though. I think they're a little over or around 11k with 100hp. My vrod was 12k with 120hp. Maybe it'll push Harley to reinvent their hot rod.

Yeah with a 200 I'd be guessing anywhere from 60 to 65mph. I myself came from motorcycles and the scooter ride was a very nice and welcomed changed. If I ever have the need for speed I just jump on my vrod and cure that desire. Search facebook for a local scooter club. If your scooter can't keep up with posted speedlimits it's always better to do it in a crowd

Yeah on a scooter I use the brakes equally 99% of the time. On my motorcycle I'd say I use the rear brake more so then the front. That being said I've only put 4XX miles on my new scooter and everythings cherry.

I've always had motorcycles, two wheels has been something I've loved for as long as I can remember. I bought a scooter for my wife so maybe she'd go along with me on some rides and when another deal to buy one came up to good to pass on I bought myself a scooter too. While I own a VRod my speed craving is easily taken care of BUT I do like how quiet my scooter is and how easy it is to get around on. The fact that my wife and I can have our fun little hipster date night out on our scooters is something that's just plain fun. While I'll never give up owning "real" motorcycles I don't want to part with my scooter either. I honestly have more fun and I'm sure that's due to the fact that it's something our kids can do with us (we have a 5 and 8 year old) one can ride with momma and one with me. It makes doing family things that much more fun, like going for donuts, to the park, or to the lake to go swimming. Hands down they're just plain fun!!!

Yeah I thought about that but they fold in so I don't know if the spring loaded catch is on the peg itself or on the mount for the pegs. I'll just have to look further into it. I don't even ride with a passenger but the idea of it being broken off bugs me.

Hey scooter peoples. I have a 2008 Znen MP150 or F8 depending on which website you visit. When I bought it one of the passenger footpegs was busted off, they're spring loaded and fold into the body. I went on their website and several other clone sites but can't find this freakin' foot peg anywhere. Anyone have any ideas at all? I was able to email q-link (they make the siena 150 which is another clone) but haven't heard back from them. Thanks for all the help!
