Hey folks. I just wanted to introduce myself as I will post from time to time looking for some help. Brand new to the scooter world but have owned many motorcycles and still have 2. I just ordered a 200cc scooter from PRO. I tried searching sellers and it seems they all have bad and good. These guys responded to my emails so I give them credit for that.
I'm pretty stoked to get my new toy. I'll dedifinitely be looking to do some upgrades. I've never been known to leave things alone. I have a 2010 Yamaha Raider and a 2008 Yamaha FZ1. Like I said, I can't wait to get my scooter, go through the pre-op stuff I've found here as well as on the net and start tearing it up.
Thanks for having me.

Welcome to the forum and to the world of scooters.
Fight the urge to change things right away. Wait for that warranty to expire. My dealer gave me a 1 year 3000 mile warranty. At around 2000 miles we found an issue from the factory with the variator that he replaced at his cost.
Now that I'm out of warranty I plan on upgrading to a Dr. Pulley kit just for better mileage. Your 200 should have plenty of push out of the box.
Ride safe!

Yeah with a 200 I'd be guessing anywhere from 60 to 65mph. I myself came from motorcycles and the scooter ride was a very nice and welcomed changed. If I ever have the need for speed I just jump on my vrod and cure that desire. Search facebook for a local scooter club. If your scooter can't keep up with posted speedlimits it's always better to do it in a crowd
