Hi guys, I am a new first time scooter owner. I have been riding motorcycles for more than 15 years and have owned everything from track bikes to Harley's. This my first scooter, I bought it as a last resort but quickly found that I love the thing. More recently I have been doing the Dual Sport thing but medical bills forced me to sell it. I bought the scooter just so I had something to ride. About the scoot. It is an Adly Moto Thunder Bike 150. I am 240+ pounds and it will carry me around at 60mph just fine. Welcome Great looking scoot !I hope you get a lot of pleasure riding it! I have been, just did 60 miles last night after dinner. It will do 60+ but likes to be at 45-50 mph. I don't go fast but it is fun. |

Did you say the top speed on your 150 is 60mph? Is that indicated or actual? 60 by the speedo but at that speed I was on a highway that has a speed limit of 55 and cars were not passing me.. in fact I passed 1 car. I will do a test run with my GPS soon. |

Cool, I am curious what yours will do.
Mine will do a little more than 60 indicated, but my GPS says 58 mph or so. Basically, I'm 5 mph off (too fast) on the speedometer.

howdy and welcome. i'm just down the I-5 south of portland from ya and just returned from a 900 mile round to boise idaho during the recent record heat. it was about 110 in the shade for three days in a row. hard to re-hydrate after riding in the wind. any whoo

Welcome Seth, and that is one good looking scooter. I like the pro photography for it. I am young and always wanted a motorcycle but my parents made me settle on a scooter last year. It definitely is different from the ride mentality to the way motorists treat you. Just enjoy it for what it is worth and you will have a blast. I wouldn't be getting another scooter if I didn't love it.
