I have a 2008 Znen 150cc scooter. It had been stored up for quite some time so I brought it out, cleaned the carb out and put it on a charger. With the key on it was showing the fuel gauge respond and all the lights would work, signals etc but wouldn't start. I saw on youtube where I could jump the starter solenoid and when I did that it sparked but didn't turn over. Now there's no response from the lights, gauge or anything. I checked what seems to be the only fuse which is by the battery and it's good. I have voltage to the solenoid but not sure where to go or what to check next. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

Don't have any power to the dash, can't even get it to crank. I have full battery voltage, just checking to where all it's going at this point. I've only found one fuse but it's testing good.

Check negative battery cable ground continuity.
Sometimes the terminals on battery cables get "improperly-crimped" and shear most of the wire strands.

so if you bridged the starter solenoid and the motor did not turn over either the battery is bad or the starter motor is assuming the engine is not froze and will turn over with the kick start
try jumping it with your car battery if it turns over with that then you found the problem

Found a fuse to the ignition that was linked into the "security system" alarm that blew a fuse and killed power from the ignition. Got it to crank and "kinda" run. I can keep it throttled and it'll run fine but even if I try to adjust the idle screw it won't tighten down far enough to keep running. I took off the bowl and the jet is clean, float is good so I'm not exactly sure what I can do since the choke is electronic. Getting closer to running correctly though
