At the DMV I said I want to register my motorcycle as when I first said scooter the ignorant clerl said the did not do scooters , when in fact even a moped should be registered but not enforced like above 50cc . Thieves know that most 50s are not registered which makes it hard to track if stolen . I know a few who have gotten pulled over , hassled and had their scooter impounded because a scooter hating cop " thought " it may be stolen . Get the MSO or title and make a photocopy of it and the bill of sale and keep it under the seat . NEVER have the original title in the scooter

No title no buy . In SC one may apply for a lost title with bill of sale and hope there is no lien or reported stolen as many are . No title would be a parts scoot and priced accordingly or an offroad toy as it may be a hassle or have legal issues to register it for the street use . Many do not register their 50s but I did mine and got a MC tag since it goes faster than moped restrictions , I did not want to get hassled by going over 30 MPH nor labeled a DUI offender and I have addition insurance like roadside assistance and med pay since I do not have health insurance . Med pay and PIP personal injury protection pay for the ER bill if one wrecks on their own like a tire blows out

With a larger engine , as well as airfilter or exhaust mod you will need to install a larger main jet otherwise you will be too lean . I took the lid off of my airbox for laughs . It idled fine and was louder but bogged so bad I did not leave the driveway and replaced it back on . Get a larger jet or even better a few to test as your needs will vary from others like climate and altitude variables . Here is a chart to help you identify what jets you may have in order to get the right ones www.jetsrus.com/FAQs/FAQ_identify_that_jet.htm

I have only read about members using the Ecotrons EFI kit which I plan on getting on for my 2T with two injectors , programmable ECU with software to set things like rev limit or not and timing . My Echarm has an older Ducatti EFI system as some Echarms have a carb . First thing I noticed is instant throttle response with no stall or bogging ever . Instant starts regardless if its 17 or 100 degrees with hot or cold engine . Idle is always the same , where my 2T it would idle up a bit higher in the winter and I would have to adjust the idle speed when the seasons changed . We have all read or even had carb issues like clogged jets , sealed airscrew or bowl , torn diaphragm ETC , but I have yet to read an EFI issue . Im sure the electric fuel pump can wear out like cars can , but with over 16k miles it still purrs and screams . Everyone I have let ride my scooter who had a 150 with a carb all said it was a rocket on take off and so much midrange power . At 50 MPH I can let up on the throttle then hit WOT and have it throw my 200lb self back . The ONLY drawback is you lack the ease of upgrades like larger jets or venturi with a larger carb which is a simple mod . Some have a CDI but mine the ignition is controlled by the ECU . Both Ducatti shops here would not touch mine when I asked if they could reprogram my ECU and no software ( I could not find any ) for it . I did find a kit on Amazon for 120 and 200 for a kit with more items but I could not find a single post where someone used it on a CFMoto engine . My scooter dealer did replace his throttle body with one for a 250cc Jet Max but needed a plug for a BMW 320i as it was not the same as the 150 one . He said it was a big diff in performance and had not done a MPG comparison yet . EFI is superior and its not a simple bolt on so it may take a weekend with some troubleshooting and need a header with O2 sensor bung hole or you will have to drill and thread your own Attachments:

A cool pad with fans in it will help prevent a laptop from getting hot . Dell XPs and iBooks would get so hot they were like a heater compared to other models .
Arctic Silver is great as I have used it for years in custom builds and I also put some on a laptop that was getting hot . The vents were plugged with dust and dog hair . I cleaned out the vents and applied AS it no longer would shut down but the CPU did have heat damage but not cooked . It worked fine and I replaced the CPU with a new one and coated it with AS and have not had an issue yet on a clients laptop

Sounds like your overfilling it . When I bought my TaoTao during the PDI with my dealer he said to NEVER fill it up above the the line that prevents the gas nozzle from getting into the tank . Overfilling you may get gas instead of vapor into the vapor canister

You can turn the headlights off ? Most I have seen the headlight is always on but you can switch from hi to lo beam . If your having issues when you put on the hi beams it sounds like an electrical bug rather than carb . Do they light up normal on both beams or dim ? Could be a weak stator or battery low , as the stator charges the battery and powers the lights for most scooters . Lights than run off of the stator bright and dim with RPM changes where off the battery remain the same regardless of RPM

You can try lighter rollers or stiffer clutch springs like the 1k, 1.5k or 2k that engage at their rated speed above that of stock springs

www.scootnfast.com/scooter/Tuning_mods/De-Restricting.htm you may want to install a larger main jet and lighter slider weights instead of rollers . Change the oil and gear lube ASAP !! Any brand of 10w40 and GL5 which is 80w90 gear lube in the gears . Would be well worth it to replace the carb with one that is not sealed and can be tuned

Yeah larger venturi means more air which requires larger jets . Too big of a venturi and the engines vacuum is not enough to optimize it . Look at the sparkplug I bet it is wet and dark from too much gas

GimpShop is more advanced than Gimp . Do a custom install as default wants to change your search settings and install a toolbar and I hate those . It is clean as it is open source and great for a freebie
