Not sure if this is the right section or not for this.
Because I am down and out for a while due to me bringing my scoot down I wanna begin the paint process of my scoot. My only problem is not sure as to EXACTLY how I want to do it. I do know I want to go with silver and black (Oakland Raiders).
I was wondering if anybody is any good with photo shop that if i sent them pictures of my scoot could they give me some different paint schemes? You would help a brother out tremendously.

I'm good enough to do that but won't have time. IT gets rather tricky when you start having to use depth maps to lay a logo/emblem over a two-d made three-d shape. Yes you could get away w/o using those, but it won't look as good.

GimpShop is more advanced than Gimp . Do a custom install as default wants to change your search settings and install a toolbar and I hate those . It is clean as it is open source and great for a freebie

Make sure to clean any grime and wax off first and use light grit sand paper to scuff off the clear coat . Make sure to use primer and let it dry instead of just painting it . Krylon and Plastech ( may be spelled wrong ) make spray can paint made for plastics . Some new cans have a wide dispenser button as the common tiny one can kill your fingers . I bought a revolver style adapter and helped a buddy spray can his car . I must say it came out better than those Maaco ETC paint disasters . The trick is not to skimp on the prep and take your time . Many amateurs get in too much of a hurry and do not get the results they wanted . Make sure to apply a clear coat after the top coat is dry .
I have seen many cars with a wild vinyl wrap that looks like it was airbrushed . Airbrushed paint job can be thousands . Laser printers can print amazing graphics on vinyl but custom wraps are not cheap and last only a few years unless you have garage .
Harbor Freight has some spray paint equipment for cars and small air brush kits . With a scooter having much less to paint than a car the airbrush kit may work best without having so much over spray .
Do a web search on scooters in Puerto Rico as they take scooters to another level with custom mods compared to here in America

Give me a picture and I'll work my magic. I don't really like changing scooter colors because all the gloss makes it hard to be realistic. I'm an engineer, and work in Photoshop too often I'm afraid… But it should be easy to give you an Idea. I tried to do it on my scooter but the glossy plastic reflections makes it hard to look realistic. Might be just as good to type "Raiders motocycle custom" into google and see what others have done for motorcycles.
