I didn't reply simply because I had no idea what might be wrong! (I'm totally unfamiliar with Minarelli.)

Seems to me that a nice .22-250 from half a mile might have been more practical than full auto...

Check with the cc company. Many cover damage to rental vehicles.

CFMoto/Qlink seems to be built much better that a typical "China scoot". 11k on mine...needed rollers, that's about it. Previous owner damaged the front master cylinder, but that is hardly CFM's fault.

tire size

I was pondering the thought of getting two rear tires since they are stronger than the fronts . My scooter dealer has a rear on the front of his own scooter but mounted backwards . If I wemt this route I would want mine mounted according to the unidirectional arrow instead I have seen several tires spec'd for both wheels that are SUPPOSED to be reversed if on the front.

howdy again, maybe you could go to our section of for sale stuff and put an ad in that you need those parts and someone may respond that they have them. even with shipping maybe they would be cheaper than ordering from somewhere. lotsa miles and smiles to ya ken True...hit CL, there's bound to be someone selling a scoot he can use for psrts.

For the money, I'd rather have a used Burgman 400.

Just an F.Y.I cold starts should raise your rpms LESS than 1000 rpms from your set idle usually 500-700 rpms higher than your set IDLE. At that setting your Rear Wheel should NOT spin. For a Normal CVT setup the clutch will usually engage around 2500 rpms. If starting it cold it IDLES so high that the wheel is spinning at a pretty good clip that tells me it is running LEAN off the pilot jet. As far as the checking the plug for color that is very deciptive because it all depends how the test was done and when. The plug color will change from low to high throttle position I go by the sound of the motor the way it is running and RPMS. Now a Tach Is very important it is your crystal ball, the RPM gauge it does not matter if it is off or not you should know how the motor runs and the speed when the tach is registering at a certain number. If you know this then the tach becomes your fortune cookie, it will tell you if something is not right and going south. But all one can do is bring a problem to the front, what someone does with it is their choice. And what is this the Clutch engages at 5000 RPMS!! WOW!! Talk about sling shots. Alleyoop Not that unusual. Offhand, a Burgman 400 doesn't fully engage until 4500.

I hate this..... and I wear eyeglasses so the problem is worse for me as I can't wear sun glasses unless I buy prescription sun glasses.... very expensive. And wouldn't you know it, when I go to work, suns in my face... and when I go home, the sun is in my face.... Joy I solved the problem (I also wear glasses) with a set of clip-ons. $10 at Walgreens.

LED 12v lights work very well. My company has been using them on trucks & trailers for at least eight years...and we have never replaced one for any reason other than physical damage. (Even then, it often still worked.)

Just joined the Southern Cruisers recently...now that I have a scoot that will keep up (my Qlink will not), I hope to do LOTS of riding.

My sister went down last year...pushed out of her lane by a car. Two knee surgeries, a skin graft, and a separated shoulder. $100,000+ in medical bills, fortunately, the guy that hit her was insured. Her helmet (modular Shoei) was scraped 360 degrees around & left paint on the K-rail she fell into.
She was going ten miles per hour.
