Good Morning to all. Just as the title says we have a default forum avatar. Currently it's the plain Jane blank face avatar that is provided by Proboards.
But it can be changed to a lot more pleasant looking one in just a matter of minutes. I thought and thought about what to use so instead I thought, hey! let's vote on it. All can see what I've listed including the "other" category so it won't be a problem to choose outside of the poll
Now in case you're wondering about the old Dawg logo, I'll not keep you in suspense on that one and much thanks to Leo (oldchopperguy) for digging this oldie out of the closet!
Ok all of you see the time table so let's hear from all of ya! BTW the selection of "image for the default avatar" is a vote to keep the default avatar.

I always liked that image. Lee however had different taste and opted for a puppy design. The logo that was chosen really never was an official logo image. It is a great one though, thanks Leo.

Doug,
You're more than welcome! Yeah, the "Old Dog" was a favorite of mine way back in the ScootDawg days. It was my favorite, but Lee wanted the happy puppy on the Chinese Vespa, which really DOES have an amazingly wholesome appeal. Not quite what I'd put on outlaw-biker colors, but fits right in with a "Hello Kitty" on your ride...
At avatar-size, you can't see a lot of detail in the "Old Dog" graphic, but is still my favorite of all the designs I fooled with back then. It would definitely be "at its best" on a T-Shirt, coffee-mug or something like you offered on the ScooterRebels store.
That thing took "4-EVAHH" to draw up, so I'm really glad to see it getting some use now!
After a marvelous week of 75-degrees and sunshine, and getting spoiled by being able to run all my errands on "Minnie Mouse"... It's back to freezing winter-temps, and reality again in Texas...
That old "doggy" graphic reminds me that SOMETIMES we're the DOG, and SOMETIMES we're the HYDRANT... Here's to a soon-to-be FANTASTIC spring and summer of riding, and being the "Top Dog" covering a lot of happy miles... (or "Chinometers" for most of us...)...LOL!
Ride SAFE!
Leo in Texas

Hey, I *LIKED* the happy puppy design! He was cute! And obviously so excited about riding!
Then again, I'm a girlie-girl, and I have no problems putting something cute on my outlaw biker colours. Which of course would be pink. I'm such a rebel, grrr.

For any of you that do not want a avatar at all go click on
Profile > Edit Profile > Avatar
and where it says Use only the Uploaded/Link
click on that and copy and paste this URL in the pop up and then hit Save Avatar Changes
www.itistheride.com/Rbanlogo/avatar .png
I put a space between avatar and png so the link would show, be sure to take the space out when using the link.
This will put a background the same as the forum page and take out the avatar completely.
