Welcome to the forum, I know you can go wider to a 140 but I'm not sure about taller.

You would have to measure the clearances FIRST before going with another tire size . There is plenty of 130/60/13 tires out there Here some examples tires . I like how that place has it so easy to look up tires by size and change the parameters if desired . CycleGear , Amazon and Ebay are other sources . I must say I prefer the ride and handling of 130/60/13s much more than 10x3.5 or my 16s on my Echarm . Mine came with the street knobby tread so it reminds me of an old school minibike . Here is a visual calculator where you can compare two diff sizes together to get an idea tire calculator I would also ride out to any or all local shops who sell tires so you see first hand the diff in sizes . I know CycleGear will only mount tires just 10mm wider than stock . The 70s may soften up the ride a bit with the taller sidewalls .

I have to say, if you go out to your local tire shops using them as a reference library, the courteous thing is to also buy your tires from them. Otherwise, eventually you won't have any local shops to go to. If they charge considerably more for their tires, just show them what you can get the same tires for online and see if they won't come down in price.

I have that tire (different size of course), on the back of my TMAX. Price is right and it meets my requirements. It is round, concentric with the rim, easy to balance, and holds air. I'm still working on how long it wears. If there is a decent life time of wear I will get another when needed.

I have run power pures on a Burgman, they have a duel compound thread, the tread on the bottom will give you long mi.and the sides are sticky and will give great cornering ,highly recommended .

Silica helps provide optimized grip in virtually all conditions. Cutting-edge styling and performance for midsize scooters, with superb steering, braking and handling. My dealer suggested the Michelin Pure Sc since it has a hard compound in the middle for long life and softer material on the shoulder to grip better . I also was interested in the other Michelins too . I got it down to the Avons and Pirellis and went with Pirrellis so that shipping would be free . Orders 99 or more have free shipping . JR thanks for the link as you saved me 40 dollars as I was about to get em elsewhere . My dealer told me 87 each and I laughed . CycleGear wanted 64 plus 3 to get it sent to their store . My dealer and other shops only had generic tires that were J rated . The Pirrellis and Avons both are reinforced and P rated to MPH

ITEM DESCRIPTION Shinko SR568R Rear Scooter Tire 130/70-13 A brand-new scooter tire offering from Shinko available in most late model scooter front and rear sizes.Features: 4 ply rated nylon carcass Tubeless DOT approve,- hears the tire i was considering for my jcl what do you all think, thanks for all the replies, keep them comming every one. Speed Ratings: S (115mph), or P (94mph) What do I think? You're not listening, the 140/60/13 is as big as you can run on the back of this scooter.
Do the math:
140 div by 25.4 = 5.51" X 60% = 3.31" X 2 = 6.62" + 13" + 19.62" OD With this tire fully inflated you have appx 1/4" clearance between the tire and the crankcase, in fact you have to swing the muffler side shock back to even get it on and then flat, after install air it up.
Now the 130/70/13
130 div by 25.4 = 5.12" X 70% = 3.58" X 2 = 7.16" + 13" = 20.16" OD = rub the crankcase = they won't take it back after you installed it and starting over.
Now Avon makes the 140/60/13, rides like a charm, wear is longer and better than the Pirellis have ran both my wife's JCL 250 has Pirellis and when they wear out they're getting replaced with Avons. The wider 140 tire on the back rides like a dream, holds the road in wet weather and doesn't rub anything. I've put over 12k on 2 sets of Avons on my 250. Shinkos? Hard as a rock and will beat your brains out.
The site I give you along with others handle Avon and if you hit the size chart drop down you'll see it comes in 140/60/13.

The Pirelli SL26 ? I plan on ordering Saturday so should I get the Avons and a sparkplug so shipping is free ? I know some scoots and MCs have a taller tire in the front and wider rear but mine has both the same size and I would prefer to stay like that as I enjoy the feel of it . .
My dealer had those Shinkos a while back and a few others . The only tire they had was a Shinko not on that page that said it was rated for 75 MPH on the tire . Most use the letter code . I have Shinkos on my Echarm but they are hard and I wanted to get better tires that those for my 2T as I plan on taller gears soon and want above J speed ( 62 MPH ) tires . I like how the Avon and Pirelli in 130/60/13 are reinforced as I would hate to have blow out while zooming

JR about how many miles did you get out of both sets ? If I can fit a 140 would it wear out the engine and CVT more so ? Would the 70 sidewalls change anything other than the ride ?
