Thanks alleyoop for the info, If the seafoam didnt work i was prepared to pull the carb and start cleaning , after filling the carb thru the gas inlet i let the seafoam sit in the carb over nite, next day cranked it over some then reattached the gas line with some high test gas in the tank , i cranked it off and on untill she fired up, some smoke from the seafoam but was idleing fine as befor, i let it idle that way for bout 15 min, then gave it the gas and behold it took it, let it down and took it out on the road ,and alls well, as a matter of fact it seems to be running a little smoooooother. thanks again for all the help and info

First thanks to every one on the ,info on the tires i needed . we are good on that end now. Now a new problem my scooter idles fine starts right up but went for a test run after sitting all winter and it started to sputter and stoped it started right back up but wouldent take the gas would act like it was starving and stop, started right back up but wont take the gas,
Heres what i have done so far checked the fuel filter changed it ,-still the same problem, checkrd fuel pump its fine, gas lines are clear and flowing fine, all airlines going to and from the carb, clean and opend, checked the choke seems fine and operateing , Heres what i found i pulled the gas line off where it goes to the carb i attached a seperate line to the carb and put some gas in it still had the same problem so i put a little airpressure to it about 7 pounds ,removed the line and put gas line back on ,and it started working.
is this a case of my flote inside the carb sticking?or what? i really dont want to pull the carb off , would a cleaner work?,is there any thing else i can do? or am i barking up the wrong tree, any thoughts? it was working grate when i put it up for the winter, now this.
thanks for any and all help.
