Pretty birds. So do peacocks come in various breeds like chickens do? Or is the white one an albino?

I haven't been around them too much but everytime I have they were very loud and obnoxious. Maybe they were in the mating season or something.

Somehow, I missed this post... WELCOME to the site!I recently saw a "learning-channel" feature on peacocks, and was amazed. Seems their BEAUTY caused them to often become the main dinner course in medieval times... However, it also seems they tasted TERRIBLE. Enter the American turkey... Ugly, but delicious! A fortunate bit of luck for the European Peacock... Those ARE beautiful birds you have. Enjoy them to the utmost!  Leo in Texas
