@ jar
there are some 200-220's out there
the Genuine Blur 220I says it will do 75 mph not sure if thats all day, or just quick bursts of.
how long do u wanna do 60+ mph? all day or just a 2-3 miles burst? 18-20 miles on the highway, twice a day.

For cold, I would probably run 5W-40 (or even 0W-40) synthetic. The 5W-40 is diesel engine oil (Rotella T, Mobil Delvac or Truck and SUV), the 0W-40 is sold by Mobil as "European car" oil.

Well...if it will not reliably do 60+MPH, forget it. Looks like I'm either getting a 250 or scrapping the whole plan as unworkable.

Questions...when did they switch to EFI? I think this one is a 2009 or 2010. Do they have rear discs...I forgot to look. Would it hold up to a 50-mile (round trip) commute? Any idea what I should pay for it?

Saw one for sale...it's a 2011, 40 miles (seriously), asking $1200 with a rear trunk. So...is a Tao Tao 150 highway-capable? Will it run 55-60MPH? The seller says it will...but he's trying to make a sale!

A local dealer has one of these, used...it's a "TBX 260 XY260T-4". It's Chinese, and it's BIG; it's as long as the motorcycles parked next to it. So...anyone familiar with it? From the model, I expect it's a 260cc, which I figure is liquid-cooled...right? I'm figuring this would be highway-capable, yes?

In New York , no title no transaction period . With one exception , its a seized vechle sold by shreiff or marchal . John So how do you tag a vehicle bought from a state that does not issue titles? (Offhand, RI doesn't title anything 10+ years old.)

Castrol (and others) make a 5W-50 synthetic. That would probably be a good choice.
