well after going thru everything and trying to decide whats best for my "kids' and running all the numbers. i cant keep my place for the whole time im on 'vacation'.
The 'kids' will be going to the www.kopykatsanctuary.org/Home_Page.html
wednesday the 3rd, the day before i go.
Gonna cost me $6,000 but oh well, they are my children.
I trust Susan totally to take care of them.
i was just hoping there was a way to keep them in their own home, but alas cant be done.
At the very least, i know they will be well taken care of, have medical care, companionship etc etc.
i really dont know why im telling you people this.
Except some of you i do consider friends.
im sorta sorry Hank left, he cared.
and i just needed to rant and cry all at the same time
if you have ANY pull with who ever is upstairs, and care, please ask that my 'kids' are fine for 2 years till mom gets home.

Terrilee,
The wife and I have a pretty good relationship with the Man Upstairs. Our prayers are with you, and the kitties. We do pray that your time will be short, and you'll be back with Chrissy and the kids very, VERY soon!
You SURELY have more friends here than you realize, and you'll be in MANY members' thoughts and prayers until you're back in person!

Dont pray for me, i can handle anything
but the 'kids' , i cant even tell 'em to hang on, for only 2 years, just sleep it away, ya lil lovers.

I'm sure they'll be fine. Our cat had to go and live with his "grandparents" for over a year due to my wife being sent to Afghanistan, and me re-joining ship after a promotion course. He was totally fine and still loves us, even if he is a complete PITA! Just knuckle down, get through it, and you'll be back to fluff everywhere, shredded dinning room furniture and a big purry head in your diner every night in no time. Ian (and Asti) Attachments:

terri, you know you'll be in my prayers. You and your kitties. Just keep in mind how happy they'll be when you get back, although they'll probably pretend otherwise.

I'm sorry you gotta leave em for a while. I had the same problem when I was in the military and moved from stateside to oseas and back. I paid a lot of money to take those animals with me/us But, a cute story (maybe:) I was talking with my brother last nite wishing him a happy birthday, and we started talking about his new cat. He named him Herpes!! I said 'Herpes, "  He said he named him Herpes..."cause he always keeps coming back" Adn that's a true story-only my idiot brother could come up with that That's the kinda thing you can't make up |

i just pray they make it the whole 2 yrs. and i can snuggle with 'em again.

I rescued soo many cats (actually, my daughter brought home strays so many time to our house that..................never mind.) And, thanx for the service thing. i was DOD Kool I did them 25 years, and just completed 20 years with DOD. Gonna retire as soon as my civil suit is completed. |
