I actually found visibility to be fine...aside from the thick A-pillars that just about everything has now.

Got mine to save my Taurus, since nobody domestic makes full-sized wagons (heck, they don't make many compact wagons, either). I figure every mile on the scoot is one less on the wagon. And of course, ever since then we've had summers of rain, summers of massive wind-gusts, summers of workman's comp knee.... >'Kat Dodge built the Magnum until 2008. I had one...GREAT car!

OE size on a Helix clone is actually a 110/100-12 front, 120/ -10 rear. Bridgestone makes both sizes...IIRC, they were used by Honda on the Helix.

I suspect the Elio will be just as successful as Liz Carmichael's 3-wheeler!

This gal has 12,000 miles on her, so this is destined to be a looonnng thread. JerryScript provided me with a list to get started: Treat it like a brand new scooter in a crate, and do a full PDI. At the least, you should: -remove all the body panels -check all bolts/screws/nuts -check the brake pads and cylinders -inspect all fuel lines and other hose -give all wires a gently tug at the connector to be sure they are snug -change and strain the oil through a coffee filter to check for metal particles -change the tranny oil at the rear -open the CVT and replace the belt, inspect the variator and weights, and check the clutch pads for glazing I bought the fluids & loctite. Gonna tear it down soon. What is this orange and this red switch? Is it supposed to be a kill switch & flashers? Neither switch moves. Top is the stop/run switch, bottom is the starter button. Little button should be 4-way flashers. Yes.

Thanks everybody. Thanks for the list Jerry. Where's the best place to order parts for this bike? Is this the best book to buy? Do you know a good place to find stainless screws & bolts that can replace the hardware on this bike? Also, since it has a screen instead of an oil filter, is synthetic oil a waste, or should I get the 15/40 synthetic Rotella and just change it every 500 miles, since it's about the same price as generic motorcycle oil? I'm currently using the Rotella 15/40 NON-synthetic in my diesel car, which will soon be sold. 15W-40 diesel oil every 1000 miles. Synthetic is, in fact, a waste of money. You probably know this, but the CF Moto Fashion 250 is a bolt-for-bolt clone of a Honda CN250 Helix.

I checked Sunoco today and they have a dedicated hose on the corn-free blend. It is also rated , not 89, as I thought. I found some info on my CF Moto 250T that says it calls for octane fuel. The seller told me he only uses regular. These bikes are also known for running lean with very small carburetor jets, so some fuel and bigger jets should improve performance but I'm a bit torn because I'm also concerned about getting the best mileage. I ran E10 premium in my Qlink Helix...it got nothing else in 11,000+ miles and had no problems.

Per the manual, my Burgman gets 87-octane E10.

Ran out once...borrowed truck with a bad gauge. It showed half as it ran dry. Never before or since...I fill my Burgy when the gauge is in the red (a bit below 1/4).

You need to change oil frequently...I had a Honda-clone 244, and they have no filter. (I went 1000 miles.)

Purely for styling? Honda's Helix, aka the "snowmobile on LSD."
For the ride? Burgman all the way!

Might be a stupid question here, but why would anyone not report a stolen vehicle? As for not titling older cars, first off how do you license them and drive them legally then? Usually...bill of sale and previous owner's registration. Usually $2-300 for a junk car, a bit more for an old land barge or a truck.
