Has anybody heard of a place called MOTOPARTS ? Ordered a belt from them over a week ago and have not gotten any response from them about shipping tracking numbers or any kind of confirmation at all. Sent them two e-mails and nothing. PayPal took the money same day I ordered the part. Maybe I'm just jumping the gun.

Thanks, I will have to pull some things apart to get a better idea of whats going on. It doe's have the feeling like the fork is folding into the frame but also the shocks have a very soft feel to them. The fork seems secure and turns freely without binding but will have to remove front body panel to get a closer look.

I was almost thinking the front shocks are to soft but don't think theirs any adjustment to make it a little stiffer.

Have you ever ridden down the rode and came to a dip in the road and felt like your scooter suddenly just stopped then started moving again. What would cause this to happen? It's almost like trying to throw you over the handle bars kind of feeling.

Unhook the line at the pump that runs from the oil tank to the pump. Drain oil out and hook back up or remove. Trace oil line that runs from oil pump to carb and remove or plug line. Cap off where oil line went to carb. I got rubber vacum cap from auto parts store. Don't forget to premix your gas 50:1 for a low smoke synthetic oil. I use a 5 gallon gas can to mix in and add to the scooter that way. Always give a good shake before adding to scoot.

Gear oil needs to be changed. Your 2 stroke oil that gets mixed with your gas is the lubrication for your engine. It has its own holding tank and is injected into the carburetor or you have to premix it with the gas. The 2 stroke oil you just add and don't change because it lubricates and burns off with the fuel.

That's what I did and am not having any problems. Just drain they oil out of your tank and unplug line at carb and cap off at carb. I used a small vacuum cap from they auto parts store and it seems to do the job ok. Use a low smoke synthetic 2-stroke oil. I use a 5 gallon gas can and pre-mix in that.

Anybody else have a scooter that came with that dreaded 792x16.6x30 size belt that only comes in a standard grade belt? Are you still using that size belt or did you change size to get a better grade of belt?

stiffer torque springs are good for hills, but if your ridding on flat land then use a lite spring.

Scrappy dog is good. I ordered from them before. I had an issue with a belt other than that their parts seem to be good quality. Shipping seems to be fast. Parts for scooters I heard is good but haven't ordered from them. Racing Planet I also heard is good. If you are replacing the clutch, you should check your belt and roller weights for wear.

Don't over tighten you will strip the threads. Put a drop of Loctite blue and just snug the nut. How old is the belt and roller weights? Check for wear or fraying on the sides of the belt and look for missing cogs under the belt. Check your roller weights for flat spots. When your cover is back on your belt will wobble and twist less because your clutch is supported by the bearing in your cover. Get the part number off the belt and buy a spare belt.

If you want better gas mileage you should use the stock carb. and up-jet it a little and uni-filter.

What changes have you made from the time it was running good to the time it runs bad under load. Did you change anything ? Jets, carb, a different style air filter or exhaust.
