Yes you can down jet to any number you want. Most oko carbuetors come with really high number jets. but make sure you dont run lean.

what is the perfect size for 21oko carb main jet ?with a 72cc polini contesta.. That i do not know. I am not familiar with those smaller engines. I only work with GY6 150cc engines so hopefully someone can help you out with that here. but just a heads up a stock GY6 150cc scooter has a 105 main jet so my guess is you need something a lot lower than that.

There is no set jetting, it is trial and error, no two identical motors will run the same so two identical motors may take different size jets and setting. But for a 72cc BBK something in the order of a #80 main jet. Alleyoop

Lower your MPG with a #100, did you get up on the wrong side of the bed or what !!! You ordered the wrong size my friend, you do not have a 100cc BIG BORE KIT in it you only have a 72cc BBK, You will flood the poor little thing. But you will find out, seems nobody listens anymore people ask for advice and for some ungodly reason go and do a 180 right off the charts. Alleyoop

I ran a 120 MJ on my 2T with a 47mm or 70cc BBK but I also had a Uni and racing pipe and a 19mm carb . Having a larger carb you get more air this need a larger jet than with a 19mm . Is this a 2T or 4T ? Mine became Pacman on gas compared to 50cc with a 75MJ . Here is some jetting tips jetting

Almost all OKO carburetors come with main jets that are way to high for what they are intended. Like for the GY6 150cc a 30mm carb has a 138 main jet. Which is way too high.

And try tuning a stock 150 with a 30mm carb. Most folks do not know how a motor works, a given motor can only take in so much air and fuel, you go past that point and you have a dog on your hands with a lot less power, on the flip side if you go the other way not enough of either air or fuel and you most likely will have a blown motor. If you want better gas mileage you should use the stock carb. and up-jet it a little and uni-filter.

your right geo49,i already did that..before maybe i am just not use to seeing my gas gage abruptly subside..i think there is pros and cons if you want fast scooter...even 100mj still eat a lot of gas just like 103mj because i have big carb bigger than stock..that needs more air..but i am just satisfied the way my scoot runnnn...i might change my mj to 103mj again this summer....
