Black bottles same brown labels word for word. Oil I bought a year ago was blue in color and the one I just opened the other day was brown in color. Just wondering if they might have put the wrong oil in the bottle?

Opened a new bottle of two stroke oil today. Same brand and type (Maxima scooter pro 2t low smoke synthetic blend ) First bottle was blue in color and the new bottle was tan or brown in color. Has anybody run across this problem ? Could this be the same oil but a different color or the wrong oil in the bottle?

I'd say go for the performance coil for the extra ten bucks. More spark and probably a better boot. It can't hurt any just maybe make it run better. I have not used one though.

The scooter is a 2009 Yamati eurostrada RX8 The mods I've done are: Change they eghaust from stock to expansion pipe like on scrappy dog site under 2 stroke perf. parts. up jet carb. to # jet and open element air filter. Went from 4 gram to 4.5 gram rollers, 2000 rpm clutch and torque springs. It ran well with this setup. I did have a problem with the splitter on the throttle cable and think I might have to mess with that to make sure the throttle opens all the way. That and a fresh set of roller weights I think might help. I did bypass the oil pump after it started leaking and am running premix now.

squish head or hump type head. whats the difference ? I already added a pipe and changed rollers and springs with great results. I also up-jetted the carb. and open element filter.

At this point I'd rather not swap out cranks, since it only has about 1400 miles on her. She doe's run well but I'd like to get a little more top end. I top out at about 42 -43 MPH .

I don't think I want to go that far right now since the scoot doe's run well. But would like to cruise without being WOT all the time and maybe get up hills without loosing speed. I already changed to a sport pipe, up jetted and did the rollers and springs and am now thinking about a BBK. Any idea on a bbk that would increase power and not have to change the crank? I have ridden some scoots with bbk and didn't seam to have the power of my 50cc scoot and am trying to avoid a kit that will cause no increase in power or make it feel like it's slower than it was as a 50cc.

What is involved in changing a two stroke crankshaft? Does it involve splitting the case?

I think the belt marked TONGBU was just a really crappy cut belt. Did you notify scrappy dog scooters? I think they should be informed that those are defective belts.

I got that size belt from scrappy dog and it shred in under two miles.(tongbu) was the name on the belt. They told me the belt was not defective but something was wrong with my cvt. Got belt from John at scooters plus and it's been fine about 400 miles so far. It wasn't mitsuboshi name on stock belt. I think it was Quinjang or some thing to that effect but it looks beefy like the stock belt. If you try that size belt from racing planet usa let me know how it works out for you?

I use the Maxima Pro 2T. It's a low smoke synthetic. You can use on injection or premix.

To much air open element air filter and stock jet. Try the tape trick like alleyoop says or get stock air box or up jet with open air filter. I had similar problem a few years ago.

No Tach. Scooter has 1800 miles. Mods are went from #68 to # main jet and open element cone style air filter. No name expansion chamber like the one on scrappy dog site under two stroke perf. section. The pipe doe's seem to work well for a no name pipe. Also changed rollers from 4 gram to 4.5 gram which seemed to work best. And 2000 rpm clutch and torque spring.
