can i leave the oil pump and don't remove it if i decided to premix just disconnect the oil cable..is that ok..w/no problem..thanks

That's what I did and am not having any problems.
Just drain they oil out of your tank and unplug line at carb and cap off at carb.
I used a small vacuum cap from they auto parts store and it seems to do the job ok.
Use a low smoke synthetic 2-stroke oil.
I use a 5 gallon gas can and pre-mix in that.

You want it to smoke but not a cloud that blinds people behind you. So some have found 35.1 worked for them some 40.1
So you will have to experiment which one smokes but not a cloud of it.

I use synthetic oil at 50:1
Smokes a little more with premix than when I had the oil injection pump but not to much.

I premix at 50 to 1 , which is 3 ozs per gallon since 4 it ran hotter and not as good . Premix is safer but a hassle . You can always upgrade to a Mikuni oil pump later if you opt to but you may need another throttle cable part that has two leads instead of just one
