Probably need an aftermarket cylinder head to add much top end power. Most of the standard mods like exhaust pipe help the midrange power.

Don't sleep on transmission parts either. You can get quite a bit there as well.

Unless those are hot Vespas, you may have THE fastest 150's on the entire planet! You're getting 250cc speeds here!Your mods are simple and straight-forward, so PLEASE tell us more about your scoots... Brand, year, etc. The kind of speed you're getting is so "over and above" what we're used to (even with SERIOUSLY-tweaked 150's) that you have our full attention! "Enquiring minds want to know..." Unless these are strong-running Vespas, and/or you weigh around pounds... you're onto something here we all would like! Now, if you ARE a -pound Vespa rider, please, "fess up" so us lard-butts won't feel so bad about our 50 mph rides... LOL!I'm not raggin' on you, just REALLY impressed with your speeds! Ride FAST, but ride SAFE,Leo in Texas

DX Znen will hit 55mph GPS downhill with little wind is WOT. (The speedometer indicates 70mph!) upjetted 118, 1" header, open muffler, pod air filter. 12Gram sliders - runs better, but hasnt gotten any faster. But I am 235lbs
Xingyue hit 66 down a huge hill with a 25mph tail wind, at just over 10Krpm. I was 265 then.

what would really help a 150cc accel and top end This is the best mod (see below) Sorry couldn't resist. Here's the best way to spend your money tampa.craigslist.org/hil/mcy/3944754284.htmlor if you have deep pockets... (and class) try something old like this... tampa.craigslist.org/pnl/mcy/3950476150.htmlJust joking a bit. Unfortunately it seems like no matter what is done on a 150 you will likely top out around 60. If you have a strong engine the gearing is the most likely way to go a little faster
