Here is what I'd like for you to do . first your idle rpms are way too low , even at 1000 rpms. The norm is around 1700 for these scoots.
Start the scoot , let it warm up. Next turn the idle screw up until you rpms are near 2000 rpms. Next adjust the air fuel until you get the highest rpms possible. Please remember , you don't want the clutch to engage, so at some point you may need to back the idle screw down " if they get too high, turn the idle screw back down so the scoot is back to 2000 rpms ". Then u can return the the air fuel screw to keep adjusting for the highest rpm. After you hit that point , you will then turn the idle screw back down so your scoot idles around 1700 rpms. Now the carb will be tuned properly. Let us know if this helps.

Yes , you have a long case engine . you can use an 842 instead of an 835. The 842 is better to use . it will give you a higher top speed. Well it can give you a higher top speed if you tune the CVT correctly. I always use an 842 . I've never bought an 835. You can even use an 846 . I bought one once , but i didn't take my time to really tune it in. I would like to try it again with my K&S variator. Actually I probably shouldn't try it since I'm already at the top of the variator. I'd def give it another shot if I had one of the 117mm variators. Most if not all long case scoots come with an 835 and many switch to the 842 . the 842 is one of the upgrades most do when they mod their scoots.

Same here buddy. I also wear a full face helmet. I have no idea why some don't were one. Unless you have a windshield , a full face is a must ! Yes, Funny but Not, I use to do a product Display at the Republic of Texas Biker Rally. The old timers from Not Wearing a Helmut or just one of those little brain buckets with Ears Exposed have suffered Significant Hearing Loss from Wind Noise alone., Along with the Old Hard Tails, if not in a Wheel Chair were on Walkers and Caines. Here are always bugs or rocks flying up and hitting you in the face . you see so many moto riders riding with no windshield and no helmet ! I don't understand it. It seems like every time I raise my visor up , I get a bug in the eye !! Its not fun riding around with one eye open .

Does everything fit together good ? How good does it fit through the crossbar ? A pic would be great ! I actually lost mine a couple days ago. Waiting on a new uni to arrive so i can redo it. Have a knockoff straight to carb on there now. I used (I think) a 2" 45* sweep elbow and a section of 2"pvc about 2.5" long. Great performance boost over a straight on filter. This is totally tunable also, just increase or decrease pvc length to get results. Found my best results around 2.5" Fit through my Lancers crossmember well, but rubbed the back fender if not angled right. Sounds great. I think my PVC may be a 45 degree also.

I'm pretty sure either will work , one is just a little longer . So this is my guess, not knowing. The reason to have a temp gauge is to watch and see if things are out of whack, and stop before melting the engine into a blob of cheap alloy aluminum. It seems to me a bright idiot light would be great for this. An easily read tempt gauge even better, especially if linked with a light. That way, when buzzing along at 100mph, the wheels bouncing so much they no longer know where the pavement even is, if the temp shoots up you have a chance to catch it in time. A dipstick? No use at all. Who would be so lucky as to look down & back at the right moment (even presuming it would be visible when riding). Is that about right? Always so negative !! My goodness , lol

Thanks alot. What did it cost you would say? Less than ten bucks total. Does everything fit together good ? How good does it fit through the crossbar ? A pic would be great !

I used to see the end of some wrestling show that came on right before Wide World of Sports, back before it was all soap opera and show, when there was still some actual wrestling going on. I don't remember the name Dusty Rhodes at all. I would watch for Bulldog Bob Brown, 'cause he seemed shorter than most and not so beefy, but usually won his matches. Gosh, I haven't thought of Bulldog Bob Brown in years. Thanks for reminding me of this memory. >'Kat It was always a soap opera " in my opinion " ,lol. I use to watch it during the old wwf days. George the animal steal , Andre the giant , days.

"but George clooney is one of those liberal..." If I boycotted the work of every every actor and musician I clashed with politically, I would have little left to enjoy. We must compartmentalize. Think yin and yang. I know what u mean. Some of these movies are very good . I still watch them , but it just do sent sit well with me. If I wasn't such a movie person , I wouldn't even think twice about not watching them.

I watch and chuckle. good for them they got a TV show and making $$$ from it. Street Cars All are Full Chassis, Caged, Tubbed Running Spool's, etc etc etc. Nothing Street about them. Full Blown Race/Track cars hauled in trailers to the fake Race location. 405 Whatever We were doing this in the 817 20 years ago. till the winning disputes led to Guns. The whole point is racing on the street " not on a prepped tacky track " . its completely different. Most of the cars are street legal . yes its a pre set place to race but its not the track . if not they would be in cuffs every week. However they do test their cars many times on the highways at night and have to avoid the cops. These cars are fast , much faster then the old street cars back in the day and Anyone who races on the street and does not have a roll cage is insane. Just like a couple weeks ago. A mustang down in Texas on the show , rolled about 5 or more times before finally coming to a stop on its roof. They guy would have been in the hospital if he didn't have a roll cage. As times go on , the cars will become more and more powerful , so just because they take precautions doesn't make it less bad . I'm not focusing this at u piston , but it seems like the old street racers look at this and are sort of jealous. Many seem to make excuses like " they're not real street racers because the street is blocked off legally " or " look at those cars , they are not street cars " well , most are 100% street legal , just because they advanced with the times , doesn't make them any less street cars. These care are putting out about 3,000 HP !! There have been a few cars brought on the show from the track , trying to race these guys . they find out real fast that its much different racing on the street. This season if anyone with a racing contract is caught street racing , they loose their racing contract.

The connector was the most expensive part . it was like $6.00 and the PVC was about 2-3 bucks. Then you need the clamps which are only like 2 bucks a piece . when it comes to the clamp on cone filter. They would not work with my carb , since my carb is a little bigger and sits so close to the cross bar.

Its best to take the carb and the filter with you . that way you can get the right parts. I think the PVC was 2" and the connector was 2" on one end and 2 1/2 on the other. I may be sightly wrong.

Remember, when you install that uni-filter, it is going to be significantly louder. I am talking LOUD. I threw mine out as soon as I tried it. Look up my post on installing BBK's. Learn from my mistakes. Yes, you will have much more Intake Volume. I wear a Full Face Arai helmut that incorporates Noise reduction. it doesn't bother me, but thats me Same here buddy. I also wear a full face helmet. I have no idea why some don't were one. Unless you have a windshield , a full face is a must !

When straightening the triple tree , make sure you put the bolts in and tighten them down. That way you don't just bent the front half of the holes.

Wow , that would have been a sight to see , lol. Please don't take this the wrong way. I hit a deer not long ago and k would have loved to have a camera on the scoot. It would have been a funny site. If there were serious injuries it would have been a different story .
About 19 years ago I got on a street bike for the first time . it was a beat up looking bike , but it was a buddies . I got on it " it was already started" I held in the clutch and put the bike in gear. About 20 ft in front of me was a bunch of bushes, so I had to turn slightly to the right to get onto the road and miss the bushes. Well I let off the clutch and gave her some gas and , I went straight into the bunches and fell over on my side , lol. I'm laying on the ground with the helmet on , the bike is on its side with the throttle still spinning the wheel . I was laughing so hard , along with the other 10 or more of my friends . some were laughing so hard , they too were also on the ground. I was about 17 years old at the time . those were some good times , lol.

It is a new bike. It was shipped to me. I will have to check if it's loose. See if you have any side to side movement. However I don't really thing that would cause the scoot to bounce like that. It would probably just cause some swaying while riding. I'd first try to get the wheel balanced , if that doesn't work you will need to get that tire off the rim , make sure the rim is ok and then if the rim is fine , order a new tire.
