howdy and welcome to the forum
the honda dealer here in woodburn oregon has new 125 honda scoots for a thousand off putting them at 3,000 bucks and i think they are fuel injected. you might take a look. when you get ready to ride some you can come down 99 from oregon city and i'd be tickled to meet up with ya for coffee or?

howdy, if you are talking about a fuel injected engine, what you may be experiencing is leakage in the pick up hose where it connects to the filter. piaggios had that problem because the europeans weren't designing for ethanol fuel and used the wrong hoses and connectors.

howdy, yup, been there. glance off the rear of a car that stopped for no apparent reason. scoot down, helmet hit road, kinda confused, someone picked up scoot and moved it to the sidewalk and put the sidestand down. when i was ready to continue on, i stood the scoot up and tried to start it with no success. after a few minutes there thinking, realized i had not retracted sidestand. when that was done the scoot started , like whazzup?. some ambarassment and a little residual soreness for a few days.

howdy, as i have mentioned, i can't even check the air pressure in the tires without major pain and injury potential , so i do as someone above mentioned and drive one of the most reliable known and hope to never break down. if i do , i'll have to ride my credit card home.

howdy, frogg toggs seem to be the cheapest solution. the jacket breaths but doesn't let water in. i think the most reasonable for me is the elastic waist pull on version of frogg toggs pants. i have the bib pants as well but don't like them much.

howdy, i don't know if your general health insurance will pay for your personal injury no matter how sustained but if it would and if you can get the licanse and tags without insurance , that is what i would do while looking for better options down the road. my liability insurance is 99 a year.

howdy, i don't know if these are assembled like a car with the same parts in the same order, but that sounds to me like a spun bearing race or if a roller bearing like the cage has let go. that might happen if it had no lube or if the bearing were tightened too much.

howdy and welcome from my perspective i seemed to be locked out of posting on the other forum and informed that the people i looked to for maintaining that forum were here. doug and jr in particular were people who seemed to have our interests at heart and i appreciate them and the others now acting as moderators. enjoy

howdy jr i had that lift as well and found it really helpful. despite my limitations in moving i could then even check the air pressure in the tires which is impossible without it. that is the reason my scoot needs to be as reliable and fiddle free as possible caue i can't get around to check things like i would like to.
