howdy, i don't see any of the smart ones responding so i'll throw out something. with automobiles that would indicate possibly bad plug wire or plug or timing issues. it could also indicate restricted fuel flow. i can't speak to transmission issues that might project the same symptoms.

howdy, well, actually most of the 500cc scooters are single cylinders and most settle in somewhere between 50 and 60 mph but have better torque than the 300cc' . my bv 350 seems to be turning fairly high rpm which is why it feels as strong as my bv500 did. the transmission is vastly changed in the new scoot with promise of longer service and belt life. i rode the bv 500 for better than 8000 miles on the same belt from new and am hoping for much better from the new scoot.

howdy, oregon is talking up the idea of taxing all vehicles by the mile and that the tax would be the same for every vehicle. that is, the tax per mile would be the same for a pick-up or a scooter or an electric vehicle. that might make me reconsider the comfort factor and safety factor compared to the costs.

howdy, sorry there ian. i's mixed up and i shouldn't be cause i've been all over including the train trip from lands end to john-o groats. was talking to an older fella in the local pub in coppul near chorley and he accused me of bein' a devon mon. my brother -in-law spit his mouthful accross the bar at the thought of his yank brother -in -law bein' thought to be from devon. anyway , i forgot where exactly you said you are living. congrat's for wherever it is.
